Attention all FBLA members that are attending districts, we will have a mandatory meeting Tuesday, February 8th after school in room E9 to discuss all of the district information including dress code. See you there!
Hey NHS members, listen up… Our National Honor Society meeting from last week has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 16,after school. We have some important information to share with you about upcoming activities, so please plan to be in the forum by 2:25 on Wednesday!

Auditions for the spring musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying will be held this Wednesday and Thursday after school in the auditorium. The dance auditions will held on Friday in the auditorium. For more information see Mr. Ahern, Ms. Parmenter, or Ms. TenEyck.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Basketball team for their exciting win last Friday night over Grandview 52-46. The win moves the Lady Warriors into soul possession of 1st place in the Centennial League. Our JV Ladies won 59-56. Great Job Ladies! The Varsity and JV are in action again tonight here At Arapahoe against Smoky Hill, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:00. Come out and support your Lady Warrior Hoopsters.
Attention All Freshmen and Sophomore Girls Basketball players: Your practice today will be from 2:45-4:45 in the Main Gym.
The boys sophomore basketball team will practice today after school in the Auxiliary Gym beginning at 2:30.
The Arapahoe Swimming and Diving team placed 2nd in the Centennial League Championship meet on Saturday. The following individual swimmers qualified for the state meet: Rachel Getz, Jordan Shomaker, Ellen Johnston, Morgan Dickie, Georgia Burns, Hillary Redmond and Alyssa Countway.
All “A” League participants will need to attend a very important follow-up meeting afterschool.
There will be a boys lacrosse pre-tryout meeting tonight in the AHS cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. Please plan on attending this meeting with a parent if you want to play boys lacrosse.
Due to the inclement weather we experienced on Wednesday, February 2nd, Arapahoe High School has re-scheduled our 2011 National Signing Day Ceremony. The event will now take place this afternoon at 3:00 pm in the school Forum. We hope you will be able to attend this special event!
Spring Sports Registration will take place next week! Boys and Girls Track on Tuesday, February 15th; Baseball & Boys Swim/Dive on Wednesday, February 16th; Girls Tennis, Soccer & Golf on Thursday, February 17th. All registration will take place in the Cafeteria during lunches. Make sure to stop by the Athletic Office and pick up your registration paperwork this week!
