FBLA has their annual scavenger hunt this Wednesday. Come join in the fun! We will meet in E9 at 2:20. Don’t be late or you will lose time on the hunt.

Hey Warriors….save this date…Sunday, October 23rd for the 16th Annual Littleton Stride. Join your fellow students and teachers in either a 5k or 10k race. We have been challenged to win the School Competition so we need to have as many participants as possible join the Arapahoe team. If our school has the largest percentage of participants we win $1,000! See a PE teacher for registration information.

October is here and we are now accepting submissions for the 2012 MUSE. Are you’re a writer? Do you like to compose poetry? Maybe you do creative art. This is your opportunity to be published. Submit to the Muse! Written submissions may be done on line from the Arapahoe website. Art pieces submit to Ms. Blum or Mrs. Hitchens in the Art Department. The deadline is the end of October!

FREE Alive at 25 class offering coming soon. AHS will be hosting a FREE Alive at 25 class on Saturday, November 5th from 8 – 12:30 p.m. The class will fill up quickly so register soon at www.aliveat25.us. This class will be taught by our very own Deputy Englert.

Athletics:

Congrats to the varsity, jv, sophomore, and freshman volleyball teams for their sweep against Mullen on Saturday. All four teams were victorious.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and tomorrow night is the THINK PINK volleyball match against Grandview. To show our support for this important cause, all of the players and coaches will be wearing pink to school and during the game. We are asking that ALL of the students and staff of AHS also wear pink to school tomorrow, Tuesday, October 4. Prizes will be given at the game for the best pink outfits! Also, pink items will be on sale in the DECA store all week and all proceeds will be donated. Games tomorrow night are at 4:00, 5:00, and varsity is at 6:15 pm. See you there, and wear pink tomorrow!
