General Announcements

Hey Warriors. The DECA store is still in need of workers for the 2014-15 school year.  If you already have an application, please return it to the Business Office as soon as possible. If you do not have an application you may pick one up in the Business Office today and tomorrow. Can't fit it into your schedule...no problem.  Next year we will be offering a 7th hour DECA store course so that the store can remain open after school. Stop by the Business Office for more information and to get an application.

Starting today, in keeping with Federal mandates, the price of student lunches will increase to $3.00 each and adult lunches will increase to $3.75 each.  It's that time of year when all negative cafeteria charges need to be paid off, AND, no new charges may be allowed.  Please put funds into your account or keep cash on hand to make purchases in the cafeteria.  Thank you so much Warriors!!

Athletics

The Girls JV Soccer team defeated Monarch yesterday in the JV Warrior Invitational Tournament, 1-0.  Katie Barnes assisted Daisy Mercer for the game winning goal to bring ABK to a great start to the 3-day tournament.  Kali Barber had a great day in goal, stopping a few one on one opportunities.  Go ABK Fresh/Soph and JV teams to make a strong showing in this home event!!

Yesterday the JV girls golf team competed in the Continental League Tourney and took 2nd place out of 12 schools. Special congrats to Ireland Clouse for taking 2nd place out of 60 players. Super job Lady Golfers!
Good luck to the Varsity Girls Golf team as they play for the league championship today at Broken Tee. Bring home the title Warriors!

9 … 10 … who’s gonna win?  The answer will be revealed this afternoon at the Fresh/Soph league championships for track and field.  The Stutler Bowl track is where it’s at.  There’s loads of potential for our young Warrior team.  We know you’re the best – now go prove it to everyone else!

All boys interested in playing tennis next fall are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 pm in Room E-9.
