General Announcements

The Muses are in, the Muses are in!  After a rapid sellout of our first 100 magazines, the Muse has ordered 100 more magazines, and they are now here at the school.  If you missed out the first time around and are still interested in buying a copy of this special edition, which include student and faculty writing, bring $15 to Mr. Miles in the Language Arts office this week.  We expect this batch to sell out too!

Next years FBLA Officer team has been selected!  A list of officers has been posted on the Business Department door.

Attention students, the C22 computer lab will be closed today until 1:00 pm due to AP testing.  Please plan ahead!  And remember there are quiet study rooms available for you today, periods 3 through 6!

Tomorrow night the best actors in school are putting on a mystery play. Come see the Company production of Something Borrowed, Something Stolen. The show starts at 7:00 pm, and admission is absolutely free!

This is tryout week for our Champion Color Guard! If you missed the info meeting that's ok, you can still make the clinics and tryouts. Girls or guys should come give it a "Spin" at the first Tryout Clinic on Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 and Friday from 5:00 – 7:00. Meet in the band room.  Tryouts are Saturday from 11:00 – 2:00. We hope to see you there to be a part of this awesome team!!

SENIORS… Mark your calendars … Friday, May 9th  is your deadline to return all library materials. Be sure that you check both the library and bookkeeping lists located around the building.

Seniors, please come to the front office to pick up your senior collage.

We have over 500 students with outstanding fees.  Students with unpaid fees will be delayed at arena scheduling.  Please check infinite campus to see if your fees are paid, or check the list by the bookkeepers office.  Do not risk not getting that class you really want because your fees were not paid!

Attention Arapahoe Artists!  If you had work in Art Attack this year, please drop by the art department this week and pick up your pieces.  See an art teacher if you have any questions.

Athletics

Attention girls’ lacrosse fans!  Last week your Junior Varsity girls lacrosse team added three more victories to their repertoire, starting with an exciting defeat of the Cherry Creek Bruins 7-6 and a victory over Centaurus 8-4.  On Friday evening, Arapahoe faced Heritage/Littleton at LPS Stadium.  With the battle locked at 6-6 at half, Arapahoe hit the second half running and defeated their cross town rivals with a final score of 12-9.  The JV Lady Warriors wrapped up their season with an overall record of ten wins and three losses. We would like to congratulate each and every player that contributed to the amazing 2014 season.  And on behalf of the JV Team, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Coach Carrie Levi and Coach Melissa DePierro for their time and dedication to the sport of Arapahoe Girls Lacrosse.  You both lead with positiveness, style, and professionalism. Thank you for all you have done for our players and for our team.  Go Warriors!

Hey Warriors! Come out and support your ABK Varsity girls soccer team kick off the playoffs with a match against Rocky Mountain at LPS stadium today at 6:00 pm. GO ABK!!!
