General Announcements

Congratulations to junior Jack Hansen for being named a Semi-Finalist in the High School Playwriting Competition through the Denver Center Theatre Company! Jack is one of ten high school students from across the state to advance to the semi-finals. Good luck in the competition, Jack!

Hey Key Club!  Please come to our first meeting of the semester today after school in room N2.  If you weren't able to be part of Key Club last semester, now is a great time to join. 

Club United:  Come hang out with our special friends in Room S6 after school today from 2:30 to 3:15. Join the members of Club United. This week we will tye-dye our new shirts, bring your $15 for the cost of shirt. Everyone is welcome to come down to S6 for lots of fun!

There will be an important mandatory TSA meeting for all students attending the TSA State Conference tomorrow after school in Room E9.  We will be voting on T-shirt designs and finalizing your State TSA Event Registrations. If you are not there and there is an event conflict, you will NOT be registered for that event....be there or possibly miss out!!

The PSAT results are back. Please come to the Guidance Office to pick up your results if you have not yet done so.

Hey, Arapahoe!  The Muse has been accepting your fantastic writing and artwork during fall semester, and we are opening a small window of opportunity this spring.  You may still submit work to this year's Muse if you submit it by this Thursday, January 15th.  You will NOT have another opportunity after the 15th to submit.  Keep it coming!

The Winter Dance , "A Night in Lights", will be on Saturday, January 24th from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria.  Only Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors may bring a guest from another school. Dance guest forms are located in the Attendance Office.  Watch for ticket sale announcements soon.

Athletics

Your Arapahoe Lady Warriors Varsity Basketball team won against Mullen Friday night 47-44. Double digit scorers for the Lady Hoops were Jennah Knafelc with 18 points and Annabelle Brewer with 10 points.  Your Lady Hoops play tonight against Palmer at 6:00 p.m. at Arapahoe. Come out and support them. Go Warriors!

Everyone come out and support our Unified Basketball and Cheer team tonight at 7:00 p.m. as we open our season go against the Littleton Lions, our cross town rivals game. We would like to pack Littleton gym.  

The Arapahoe Cheers will be sponsoring a fundraiser tomorrow night at the Garlic Knot.  Come anytime between 5:00-8:00 p.m. and enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet for only $10 per person which includes pizza slices, garlic knots, and a soda.  The fundraiser will be held at the Garlic Knot near Mineral and SouthPark.  Thank you for supporting your cheers!

Attention any girl interested in playing soccer for Arapahoe this spring:  We will have a meeting on Wednesday, January 14 in N5 at 2:30 p.m.  Attendance is mandatory so if you have a conflict, please see Mr. Bast in the Guidance Department.  Go ABK.

Attention! Any girls interested in playing tennis this spring:  There is a mandatory registration meeting for all girls trying out for the team and their parents on Tuesday, January 20, at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum.
