General Announcements

Members of National Honor Society: Our first meeting of the semester is happening after school today at 2:25 in the forum. This will be a short meeting, but some important info will be shared, so please try to attend. See you after school today!  

The Winter Dance is coming up, Saturday January 28^th!   Tom’s and Cheers are selling tickets during the lunch periods, $3.00 in advance, $5.00 at the door.  The dance is a fundraiser for Toms and Cheers so please come and support them. The Dress is Western Casual, AHS Dress Code Applies. This dance is for AHS students only.

Attention all Arapahoe artists. The junior class is hosting an art contest for this year's Prom Logo!  Please include the colors gold and purple as well as the name "Putin' on the Ritz" and let your creativity run wild. Turn in your design to Mrs. Crookham in the math office by February 3rd for your chance to win a free ticket to the prom!

Sophomores and Juniors,Anyone interested in taking a Concurrent Enrollment class for the Fall of next year at Arapahoe Community College should plan on attending a meeting on  Wednesday, February 1st in the forum. This will take place during both lunches, so feel free to bring your lunch.  Applications will be available at that time and the deadline to register will be at the end of February. This is another great opportunity to earn both high school and college credit. Please see your counselor for more information. 

Attention all FBLA Members.  There is an important meeting after school today in room E1287.  At the meeting you will get your FBLA t shirt and learn about the upcoming district conference.  The FBLA Yearbook photo will be taken after the meeting.

Athletics

In Girls Swim/Dive News, Tuesday, our Varsity girls beat Cherry Creek yesterday with a score of 168 to 142.  Way to go Ladies!

This Saturday, Girls Swim/Dive B League Qualifiers will compete at Heritage High School.  Come out and Cheer for our Lady Water Warriors!

Come out and watch your Arapahoe Wrestlers on Thursday vs Cherokee Trail. JV starts at 6:00 pm followed by the Varsity at 7:00 pm.
