It is time for the Library
Canned Food for Fines Drive
Happening in the library Now through Friday November 2nd
There are 226 students who owe a total of $2174.50 in fines.
For every non-perishable, non-expired food item brought to the library
Your Library fines will be reduced by 50₵
That could equal 𝟒𝟑𝟒𝟗 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒅!

Seniors!  Do you have an November 15 college application deadline?  If so, blue forms are due to Mrs. Arnold in the Bookkeeping Office by Thursday, November 1st.  
We will be holding the UNC Math Competition on Wednesday October 31st.  It is a 90 minute test, that will start at 3:40 in room S-1418. Please see Mr. Low in the math department to sign up or if you have any questions.
The Next TSA meeting is Tomorrow after school at 3:35 in Room 1287.  Remember, you will be receiving your materials for the Mini "Pumpkin Chunkin" catapult contest event!!  Please be prepared with your initial Sketch ideas so I know how much materials to give you! The Food Drive is still happening this week. We will be collecting money in TRIBE on Wednesday for Field Elementary School. The TRIBE in each grade level with the most donations wins donuts for their TRIBE!  
Junior and seniors!  Today's visits from ASU and Wartburg College will be in the library.  Sign up in Naviance to attend visits from the University of Denver and Johnson and Wales later this week.
Seniors!  Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30th is the FREE application day for colleges in Colorado.  Submit your application and supplemental essays using the specific instructions provided in the senior specific section of the Post Grad website to have the application fee waived.  Your transcripts and letters of recommendation can be submitted after tomorrow, but before your actual application deadline.  
Halloween costumes are allowed Wednesday, but please make sure they are appropriate and adhere to school dress code. In addition, masks, face painting, weapons and/or any weapon facsimiles are not allowed.
All AHS students are invited to participate in the Halloween Lunchtime activities to be held during both lunches on Wednesday, October 31st.  The fun will include a costume contest, prizes will be awarded!

There will be a brief winter track meeting in W-1529 today, starting at 3:40, for any athlete not involved in a winter sport.

All girls interested in playing Basketball this coming winter please plan to attend our Girls Basketball Pre-Season camp beginning next week  Monday 10/29 thru Friday 11/2 6:15-8:15 PM, and the following week Monday 11/5- thru Saturday Nov 10th - times for the second week to be determined. Join Arapahoe Girls Basketball and be part of one of the most successful Girl's Basketball programs in Colorado.

Attention Volleyball Fans! Your Warriors took 3rd place in the Rangeview Raider Classic this past Saturday. After a tough loss to Castleview, they went on to sweep Fairview, Brighton, and Coronado, a ranked team from Las Vegas. Listen up for news about when and where we play our Regionals this weekend! GO WARRIORS!

Hey Warriors - our mighty Warriors are fighting their way through soccer and football playoffs this week.  Come support soccer on Wednesday at LPS Stadium as the ABK take on Arvada West at 6:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students K-12.  No student passes will be accepted at this game. Please wear your Halloween costume, during half time there will be a costume parade. Then, on Saturday football will host Lakewood at LPS Stadium in a 1:00 p.m. playoff game.  Football ticket prices will be $8 for adults and $5 for students K-12. Again, no student passes will be accepted at this game. Good luck to all of our Warriors in their post-season - Go Warriors!!!

The AHS cheerleaders traveled to Pueblo last Saturday to compete in the UCA Southern Colorado Regionals. Both teams represented Arapahoe with pride and placed well! Congrats to JV for an impressive routine and a 7th place finish. Shout out to Varsity for taking 5th place in the Game Day division and 4th place in the Traditional division! Varsity hit two ZERO deduction routines, and received a bid for both the Game Day division and the Traditional division for UCA Nationals at Disney World in Orlando in February. COME OUT AND SUPPORT THEM AT THEIR NEXT COMPETITION ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH FOR THE CENTENNIAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS AT 6:00PM AT CHEROKEE TRAIL HIGH SCHOOL.
