General Announcements 

Hey Warriors, the AHS Food drive is starting on Monday, October 22. There will be collection boxes in the cafeteria and at the entrances. Bring change to Tribe on October 31. All food and money will benefit Field Elementary School's food pantry. 

Congratulations to the “Cars & History” class for organizing Arapahoe’s second annual fall charity car show this past Saturday. Over 60 cars attended the show and the student organizers raised more than $500 for Arapahoe’s Toys for Tots drive beginning in November! Way to go class and thank you to all the students and staff who attended the show. 

ttention Juniors and Seniors! The last student interest meeting for the Washington DC trip will be on Thursday October 25th at 7:55 am in Room C1436. Students who have already attended are welcome to come and get pre-registered for the trip before the deposit is due on November 1st. See Ms Winn for additional questions! 

Sophomores, Post Grad appointments will be in the library today. Juniors and seniors, the Colorado College visit will be in the library. The CSU visit will be in the Forum. Next week's visit from Miami University has been moved up to Monday the 22nd. Also visiting next week, Belmont, Savannah College of Art & Design, Fort Hays State, USC, Denison, and Northeastern University. Please sign up in Naviance. 

Juniors and Seniors - Interested in Concurrent Enrollment classes next semester at ACC? There will be a presentation along with application in the Forum Tuesday, October 23rd during both lunches. You may bring your lunch with you.

Seniors! Do you have an November 1 college application deadline? If so, blue forms are due to Mrs. Arnold in the Bookkeeping Office by 3 pm this Wednesday, Oct 17th. Please plan ahead to avoid the long lines! 

Athletics 

Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in being an athlete in college? If so, there will be a NCAA presentation in the Forum Oct. 24th during both lunches. Sign up this week in either the Counseling Department or the Athletic office. The process of registering with NCAA and also NAIA along with qualifications will be discussed at the presentation. You may bring your lunch with you. 

The Pride of Arapahoe Warrior Marching Band and Colorguard competed at the Douglas County Marching Invitational on Saturday, performing their show, Mother Nature. Arapahoe placed fifth overall and took first place in 5A competition. Congratulations to these amazing musicians and performers! Colorado Bandmasters Regional competition state qualifiers are this Thursday night at Littleton High School stadium. Good luck Warriors! We love our band! 

Please join us for ABK Senior Night, today at 5:00 pm at Littleton Public Schools Stadium. Prior to the start of the last regular season home game against Cherry Creek we will honor our seniors - Noah Carl, Alex Cheng, Spencer Cobb, Ben Davis, Cameron Gail, Zander Hahn, Adam Hangland, Lucas Miller, Everett Olson, Ewan Sweetland, Sawyer Travis, Jacob Vogel and Zack Westerman. Free Pizza (while supplies last) for AHS students who attend the game! We look forward to seeing you there! Please note that the Arapahoe Junior Varsity will be playing their final game of the season at 4:30 pm today at the Arapahoe soccer field against the Cherry Creek JV. Go Warriors! 

AHS Cheerleading is selling tickets for their fundraiser night with the Denver Nuggets. Join in on the fun on Saturday, November 3rd, as the Nuggets take on the Utah Jazz at the Pepsi Center. When you purchase through AHS Cheer, your ticket is discounted and a portion of each ticket sold goes back to the AHS Cheerleading Program. Lower level tickets are being sold for $45, and upper level tickets are being sold for $29. Order tickets online by using the link on the AHS Cheerleading social media accounts, or by the link posted on the flyers around school. Ask an AHS Cheerleader for help if you need further information!
