If you applied for membership in National Honor Society, you should have already received a letter at your home informing you of whether or not you were accepted for membership. If you have not yet completed the online RSVP form to indicate whether you will attend our Induction Ceremony, please do so by Wednesday. And if you didn't receive a letter at home please see Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in the Science office, or Ms. Leclaire in the English office.
Attention Arapahoe Artists and Art Enthusiasts!
Bring your friends and family to our first annual FALL ART SHOW reception held on TOMORROW night, November 27 from 5-7pm in the theater hallway. Thank you to our Culinary students who will be providing delicious refreshments for you to enjoy as you view the art. We would love to see you all there!
Students interested in applying to a military academy, please visit with former AHS student, Joe Brock, who is in his first year at the United States Naval Academy to learn more about this process. He will have a table set up in the cafeteria during both lunches Monday, November 26th.
Hey TSA, the Mini Pumpkin Chunkin' Catapult competition is tomorrow is during our TSA Meeting! Remember, this is a qualifying event for the State TSA conference. Please have your Project, portfolio,and LEAP resume' ready for judging. You may also turn in your State TSA conference Money & paperwork during this meeting

The second round of club photos for the yearbook will be taken on the theatre stage before and after school on Wednesday, November 28. The following clubs are signed up for Wednesday morning -- FBLA at 8:40, National Business Honor Society at 8:50, DECA at 9:00 and SAGA at 9:10.The following clubs are signed up for Wednesday afternoon-- MUSE at 3:40, Speech and Debate at 3:50, Writing Club at 4:00 and Technology Student Association at 4:10. Please report to the band/theatre hallway 5 - 10 minutes early so that we can get your club organized and just in case we are ahead of schedule.
The 17th Annual Arapahoe Toy Drive is in full swing. This is an exciting time to be a Warrior! We have started receiving toy and cash donations and are excited to fulfill our 1000 toy goal! Now through December 7th we are accepting toy and cash donations to benefit Castro Elementary and Denver Indian Center. We appreciate your help making holiday wishes come true. The Miracle Minute and Avalanche of Toys will take place on December 5th during 3rd hour!
Athletics
This week Girls Swim & Dive kick off their season with 2 meets. Tuesday afternoon at 5 PM the Varsity &. Junior Varsity Swimmers compete against Cherry Creek at Creek. Next up is a home meet on Thursday Varsity and Dive vs. Smoky Hill at 5 PM. Come out and cheer on our Lady Water Warriors!
