The ‘Pride of Arapahoe’ Warrior Marching Band participated in the Colorado Bandmasters Association’s State Competition at the United States Air Force Academy- performing their 2018 show, Mother Nature. Drum Major Kalyn Bennett conducted, with solo performances by Addie Rael on flute and Ryan Bennett on Saxophone. Arapahoe took second place in Quarter Finals Competition Friday and advanced to compete in semifinals/finals Saturday. For the sixth consecutive year, Arapahoe band is proud to bring home a State Finalist finish in 5A State Competition. Congratulations Warrior Band and Color Guard!

Today we're officially kicking off the 17th Annual Arapahoe High School Toy Drive today!  This year we are partnering with Castro Elementary and the Denver Indian Center. Our goal is to collect 1,000 toys between today and Dec. 14.  Each student receives a gift and a hat and gloves. Be on the lookout for gift drop off locations.
Key Club members, here's your reminder that \we meet today in the forum from 3:35-3:50.  Please plan to attend. If you can't make it, see the Activities tab for updates.
The first round of club photos for the yearbook will be taken on the theatre stage before and after school on Wednesday, November 7.  The following clubs are signed up for Wednesday morning -- Chess Club at 8:30, Warriors of the Word at 8:40, Math Club at 8:50, Improv Club at 9:00 and Ultimate Frisbee at 9:10.  The following clubs are signed up for Wednesday afternoon-- Key Club at 3:40, Mountain Biking at 3:50 and Sources of Strength at 4:00. Please report to the band/theatre hallway 5 - 10 minutes early so that we can get your club organized and just in case we are ahead of schedule. Thank you!

Happy Veteran's Week, Warriors! "To those in uniform serving today and to those who have served in the past, we honor you today and every day." Come to the cafeteria during lunch to engage with our military personnel and Veteran's Day Events all week. As always, Arapahoe is proud of our active and retired military alumni, and we honor all who have served our great country.

Your Arapahoe Toms had a great weekend at USA regionals! JV placed first in Pom and Varsity 2nd in pom! Come cheer on  the Toms Thursday night at 6pm at Smoky Hill High School when they compete at Centennial League! Go Toms!

Your ABK varsity soccer team defeated No 1 seed Fairview to advance to the semifinals of the state playoffs. An amazing team effort was played in this 1-0 nail biter. Thanks to all of the students and fans who made the trip to Boulder to support the team!  Next up ABK takes on Broomfield at Echo Park Stadium on Wednesday @ 5pm. Let’s go Warriors!

Your Arapahoe Cheerleaders will be competing in the Centennial League Championships on Wednesday, November 7th at Cherokee Trail High School! Come support Varsity at 6pm, and JV at 6:15pm! Ticket prices are $9 for adults and $6 for students K-12.  No student passes will be accepted at this game. Good luck, Warriors!

Boys basketball pre season camp. Today Varsity/ JV 3:45-6:00  Freshman/ Soph 6:00-8:00. Please see coach Jansen for any questions!

All girls interested in playing girls tennis this spring, we will be having a short, but important meeting immediately after school on Thursday.  The meeting will be in room N-1471. If you are unable to attend, please come by the Social Studies office to see Coach Weyhrich.

Your Arapahoe Cheerleaders will be competing in the Centennial League Championships on Wednesday, November 7th at Cherokee Trail High School! Come support Varsity at 6pm, and JV at 6:15pm! If you are unable to make it to League, consider attending Regionals on Saturday, November 10th as the cheerleaders compete at the National Western Complex in Denver. JV performs at 6:51pm and Varsity competes at both 6:34pm and 9:38pm. Wear your black and gold and get ready to yell the Arapahoe spell out with us!
