If you have something you would like to be displayed in Art Attack, please bring it to the art department by Friday, March 22. There will be awards and prizes for the most outstanding artwork, so be sure to submit yours for consideration! See any art teacher with questions"
*Hey Senior boys! Think you’ve got what it takes to be the 2019 Mr. Arapahoe? Don’t miss out on a chance to win FREE prom tickets and a tux for prom night. Applications are due March 22nd! They are available in the math office. We’re excited to see who will be competing for Mr. Arapahoe!
*Are you interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 Arapahoe Cheerleading team? Come to the Mandatory Parent and Athlete meeting on Monday, March 11th at 7:15 pm in the AHS Forum to get information on Tryouts! Bring your calendar and something to write with! See you there!"
HURRY today is the last day to request a locker for next year. You need to complete the locker request form found on the AHS website under Registration 2019-20. You do NOT need to have a locker partner to request a locker. The locker request form will close TODAY at 3:30pm.
*Smarties! Skittles! Sour Patches! What do these candies have in common? Candy is the theme of this years FBLA Volleyball Tournament! It's time again for the annual Arapahoe High School FBLA Volleyball Tournament! The coed tournament is on Wednesday, April 4th starting at 6pm. Get 8 to 10 of your friends together and pick up a registration packet. Packets will be available this Thursday in the Business Department. Hurry!! Packets will be going fast!

*MARCH Madness Tournament of Books Recap - Out of 200 votes - here are the top 3 titles - The Hunger Games with 22.6%, The Book Thief with 19.6% and The Fault in Our Starts with 13.1 %. Look for Week #2 MARCH Madness of Tournament of Books in your LPS email and IC Notifications next Monday. Remember, there is a side contest - for those who vote EACH week through April 4th, you’ll have a chance to win a $25 Tattered Cover gift card.
Athletics
*Your Warrior girls lacrosse teams open their season today against Chapparal. JV plays at 4:15 PM at Chapparal High School and Varsity plays at 6:00 PM at Echo Park Stadium. Be there to cheer them on to victory!
*The Varsity ABK Lady Warriors start their season off on today as they face ThunderRidge High School at Shea Stadium at 6pm. On Saturday they face Mountain Vista at 4pm at LPS Stadium. Come on out for some great soccer and cheer them on! Good Luck to ABK as they face these two cross town rivals!
*Any gymnast who would like to compete or get more information about competing on the Heritage/LPS High School Gymnastics Team for the Fall 2019 season should attend the New Gymnast Information Meeting. The team is made up of students from Arapahoe, Littleton, and Heritage High Schools. This meeting will introduce the head coach, what Heritage/LPS Gymnastics is all about, and provide further information on April Team Try-Outs. The meeting is Tuesday March 19th from 5-6pm at Heritage High School in the 2nd floor lecture hall. See you there!
