*Hey Junior and Seniors! If you received an invitation email to join National Honor Society, please join us for a virtual information meeting - Wednesday, October 7 after school at 3:40 PM, or Thursday, October 8 – 8:00 AM or 3:40 PM. You must attend one of these meetings if you want to apply. Contact Ms. Bownds, Mr. Sexson, or Ms. Wheeler if you have any questions.
*Students, come say "Hi" to the therapy dogs-- Gus, Zeke, and Remi. This week Tuesday, Thursday and Friday a therapy dog will be outside the North Forum entrance. They will be happy to see you!

*Seniors! Do you have a November 1st college application deadline? The College Application Tracking Form will be due on October 13th by 4pm for all schools with a November 1st application deadline. See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Hall in the library if you have questions regarding the College Application Tracking Form.
*Embrace your inner STRIDESTER! This year’s Stride will be a no-contact 5K/10K event where families can stay connected and move together in whatever way and whenever they choose within a three-day window between October 23rd and the 25th. Run, walk, hike, bike, swim, dance, rollerblade...you get the picture… just get your groove on and move! Help our school win a $1,000 Stride Grant! Register by Sunday, October 11th at runthestride.com.
*Juniors and seniors! With limited opportunities to learn about colleges right now, take advantage of virtual college visits hosted by AHS! See the College Visit Calendar on the Post Grad website to learn who is visiting this Wednesday and for other events hosted by the colleges themselves. Sign up in Naviance to attend these virtual meetings - this is also where you will find the meeting links 15 minutes prior to the visit.
*Warriors! You’re hitting a home run by wearing your masks and keeping up with your daily health self-screenings, social distancing, good handwashing and recording your attendance on all virtual days. Keep it up!
Athletics
*AHS Volleyball Open Gym begins today, Monday, October 5th from 4:00-6:00 PM and Tuesday, October 6 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Voluntary open gyms continue every Monday and Tuesday until Winter Break. All information can be found on the AHS volleyball website https://www.ahswarriors.org/sport/volleyball. You must bring your signed Phase 3 waiver and permission forms in order to participate.
