General Announcements
*REMINDER: THIS WEEK IS A REVISED SCHEDULE DUE TO NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, MARCH 5. Group A will attend their normal in-person days of Monday and Thursday. Group B will attend their in-person days on Tuesday and Wednesday (PLC late start day.) Next week (March 8-12) also has a revised schedule as Thursday and Friday March 11 and 12 are non-student days.
*Freshman, sophomore, and junior students and parents -- College and Career Night is one week from today! Please check your email for event details and presentation descriptions. There are offerings for everyone, regardless of what you will do after high school...too many to catch one time, so attend each year and help prepare yourself for your future!
*Sophomores and juniors! This PLC Wednesday morning, the University of Idaho, the US Navy ROTC program, Western Nebraska Community College, the University of Missouri, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Oregon, and the University of Wyoming will be visiting virtually. Check Naviance for the times and to sign up.
*If you are interested in 10th grade Honors American Literature, AP Lang. or AP Lit. please find the application on the Language Arts homepage. Applications are due no later than March 19th.
*Attention LIFEGUARDS....if you have a need to get recertified in Lifeguarding please email Mrs. Abner. She is offering a Lifeguard Recertification class during spring break on March 25th and 26th. Remember you must have a current Lifeguard certification in order to work at pools this summer.
*Please remember to record your attendance for your remote learning days. (Follow these attendance instructions).
Athletics
*Please help support the Arapahoe Baseball teams this Tuesday, March 2nd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Noodles & Company in Southglenn. 25% of all qualifying online and in-restaurant sales are donated back to our baseball program. When ordering in-restaurant guests must mention "Arapahoe Baseball" or show the flyer upon placing your order PRIOR to paying. For online and Noodles Rewards app orders, guests can apply the coupon code, “GIVING25” in the Coupon Code line at checkout. We thank you for your support.
*Eating delicious pizza for a great cause, what’s better than that? Show your support for Arapahoe Girls and Boys Swim and Dive by ordering some delicious Parry’s Pizza at the Southglenn location on Wednesday, March 3rd between 4:00-8:00 p.m. Please make sure to mention Arapahoe Swim and Dive when you order because 20% of your bill will be generously donated to the teams.
*The AHS Lady Warriors Basketball Program Would LOVE your support and donation to their ONLY Fundraiser this year. The AHS Girls Basketball Program through basketball encourages camaraderie and teamwork. Donations will directly help with paying for equipment (basketball & uniforms), maintenance of our courts, game costs, gym fees, coaching fees and many more. It will also help impact both the AHS Girls Basketball Program and the AHS Girls Basketball Feeder Programs. Simply go to our fundraiser page where you can support our cause.
