*Warriors: please remember when entering or reentering the school all students need to enter through the east bubble entrance or the north forum entrance. Students, please do not open locked doors to other students for entry.
*Do you have an off hour and are interested in being a DECA Store Assistant? Please contact Ms. Grantham in the Business Department.
*Are you interested in getting involved with Theatre this year? The auditions for our first production, Game of Tiaras will be after school today! See Mr. Brooks in the theater if you would like an audition packet and see you after school!
*Students, please be reminded that the school dress code is in effect. Midriffs and crop tops that expose bare stomachs are in violation of the dress code. These violations can result in school discipline. You can read more about the dress code on pg. 20 of the AHS student planner.
*The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Arapahoe Huddle is starting up again. Please come join us for an information meeting in Clarity Commons tonight at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
*Let the Adventure Begin...We are going Around the World for Homecoming 2021! Mark your calendars for a week you won't forget. Homecoming week begins Sept. 13th and will be a week filled with events and spirit. All Warriors will want to participate! Save Saturday, Sept 18th for the big HOCO dance from 8 - 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 and will be sold in a few weeks.
*Calling all inspiring leaders! We have an opportunity for every Warrior to grow in leadership by joining the Student Council. All grade levels are invited to apply to be a Student Council ambassador. Applications are available now and due by August 27th. Please ask Mrs. Kuhlman, Mrs. Abner or Ms. Price about the opportunity. All students are welcome to join us at any Student Council meeting every Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. in the Forum. We are currently planning Homecoming so come contribute your ideas.
*Are you craving some mouth-watering juicy Palisade peaches? Pre-orders will be accepted through Tuesday and the peaches will be arriving on Thursday. Delivery will be at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit at 6400 S. University. They will have some extras available to sell on Thursday until 6:00 p.m. -first come, first served. *Congratulations to the JV and Varsity girls volleyball teams on their opening tournament this past weekend! Come to Sitting Eagle Gymnasium THIS Tuesday night for the home opener! Let’s pack the gym!
*Thank you Warriors who came out to support the football jamboree Friday evening! The turnout and energy was awesome!
*Arapahoe varsity softball wrapped up an undefeated week with an 11-9 win over Heritage. Thank you to all of the fans who made it out to the field on Friday! The softball team is back in action today against Regis
*Our Varsity and JV Field Hockey Warriors play today at Smoky Hill at 4:30 and 5:45. Come cheer on our Warriors!
*HEY students! Want to show your spirit and hop on the spirit bus to the Varsity Football game against Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins this Friday, August 27? Go to the athletic office to get signed up and for details!
*AHS Cheerleading is holding Fall Tryouts! If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading this fall, fill out the interest form linked in the bio of AHS cheers instagram page @arapahoe_cheerleading or send us a DM. Tryouts will be held August 31st, September 1st, and September 2nd in the wrestling gym.
*Want to leave a legacy? Consider donating to the weight room renovation by buying a commemorative brick to be placed near the exterior entrance of the weight room. Visit AHS athletics page and click on the link under 'Highlights' for more information.
