*A photographer from Lifetouch is here today in the Atrium to take school pictures if you missed out on the chance to have yours taken earlier this year, or if you need to retake your photo. If you are retaking your photo, take your current picture package with you. Stop by before the end of the day to take advantage of this opportunity!
*NHS application reminder for Juniors and new Seniors: Applications are due by 3:30 TODAY. The $15 application fee must be paid by check payable to AHS, or exact cash and turned into the AHS front office by next Thursday, September 30.
*Seniors! Do you have an October 15th college application deadline? The College Application Tracking Form will be due on October 1st by 3:45 pm for all schools with an October 15th application deadline. See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Conn in Post Secondary if you have questions regarding the tracking form.
*October 4th is fast approaching. Juniors, have you signed up for the PSAT/NMSQT? Don’t wait another minute. Follow the link in this announcement or in the September Drumbeat. Sophomores you may also take the test, but please follow your own link. The cost is only $20.
*Free in-person Alive @ 25 class is Monday 9/27 at 3:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and many insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the code is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
*The LPS Human Resources Department will be hosting an LPS Job Fair on September 28th and October 1st.

*This Saturday, Boys Soccer is hosting a "Pull-ups 4 Pull-ups" event. Show up anytime to the AHS weight room from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with yourself and a few teammates to participate in the pull-up contest. Try and get on top of the leaderboard! *Please join the Boys Swim & Dive Team for the 2021 Second Wind 5k Walk/Run for suicide prevention at Clement Park in Littleton this Saturday, September 25 to honor Sawyer Zusi and to further the cause of youth suicide prevention. The team name is Sawyer's Swimmers. We are asking each member of the Arapahoe High School community to consider participating or donating to this great cause in Sawyer's name.
