*Seniors! College Application Boot Camp begins this week! Are you looking for some dedicated time, with support from the counseling department, to work on your college applications? Feel free to come to the Forum on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 a.m., beginning September 22nd - October 13th. Please enter the school through the Forum entrance. Check your email for more details and feel free to reach out to your counselor with any questions.
*October 4th is fast approaching. Juniors, have you signed up for the PSAT/NMSQT? Don’t wait another minute. Follow the link in this announcement or in the September Drumbeat. Sophomores you may also take the test, but please follow your own link. The cost is only $20.
*Free in-person Alive @ 25 class is Monday 9/27 at 3:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and many insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the code is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.

*Our Varsity and JV Field Hockey Teams were victorious over Grandview last night. Thanks for supporting our Warriors!
*Congratulations to your Arapahoe Warriors Varsity Boys Golf Team for their 9th straight tournament victory. Yesterday they won the 5A Southern Regional by twenty strokes beating 13 other schools. This victory advanced the Warriors to the state championships that will take place on October 4th and 5th. A special congratulation to senior Will Kates for winning the tournament with a low round of 68!
*Congrats to the Sophomore Volleyball Team for taking first in their tournament at Heritage High School over the weekend! Keep it up!
*Congrats to the Freshman, Sophomore, and JV Volleyball Teams for their wins against Broomfield last night! The Warriors take on Cherry Creek at home Thursday night. Games are at 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and Varsity plays at 6:30 p.m.
*Support your Field Hockey Warriors and get your car washed this Saturday at AHS east parking lot from 9:00-1:00 p.m.!
*This Saturday, Boys Soccer is hosting a "Pull-ups 4 Pull-ups" event. Show up anytime to the AHS weight room from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with yourself and a few teammates to participate in the pull-up contest. Try and get on top of the leaderboard! *Please join the Boys Swim & Dive Team for the 2021 Second Wind 5k Walk/Run for suicide prevention at Clement Park in Littleton this Saturday, September 25 to honor Sawyer Zusi and to further the cause of youth suicide prevention. The team name is Sawyer's Swimmers. We are asking each member of the Arapahoe High School community to consider participating or donating to this great cause in Sawyer's name.
