General Announcements

*Seniors in National Honor Society! Service logs are due next Friday, December 10th! There will be an online google form to fill out and a place on the form to attach an image of your physical service log. Remember that 15 hours of service is the minimum requirement and each service event put down requires a signature! Reach out to Mrs. Bownds if there are any further questions.

*Special Sergeant Kelby-Buchanan from the US Army will be available in the cafeteria today during both lunches for anyone interested in speaking with her about a career in the military.
 
*Good Morning. My name is Bailee and I am one of the members for Sources of Strength. Our campaign for December is Generosity and Thankfulness. Part of the campaign are daily challenges. Today, the challenge is to pick up trash that is not yours. Help do the spontaneously right thing and join in spreading Hope, Help and Strength.

Athletics

 

*Congratulations to the girls cross country team for finishing 3rd in Saturday's National Championship race in Alabama. The girls were led by Emily Lamontagne who was named a 2nd Team All-American AND set a new school record by finishing in 16:53. She is the first girl in school history ever to run a 5K in under 17 minutes. Congratulations also to the boys cross country team for finishing 1st in their race in Alabama by scoring just 37 points

 

*Anyone interested in playing Baseball for the AHS Baseball team, there will be a mandatory meeting Tuesday, December 7 at 3:45 in the Forum.  Winter athletes should not attend but should see Coach Dollaghan for your off-season baseball workout program.

 

*Come join the Arapahoe Boys Swim & Dive team and participate in a sport that's fun, rewarding and includes both individual and team events.
