*Last December 2nd through December 4th, Arapahoe High School's Theatre Department attended our yearly State Competition, ThesCon. Every competing student received a rating of excellent or better, speaking to the high-quality work of all of our students. Please congratulate the following 9 students who received a superior rating and qualified for the National Competition in June - Alicia Keiffer, Kaleigh Ambler, Skye Easley, Halle Travis, Lucia Graves, Ryden Fredericks, Jessica Johnson, Keira Oriel, Sophia Strand
100% of our technical theatre students who competed were able to earn a superior rating in their event, which qualified them for Nationals. Ryden Fredericks completed the ThesCon college audition process, receiving acceptances and scholarships to 17 different colleges from across the country, in addition to the University of Denver and Northern Colorado University. Alicia Keiffer won the Chapter Selection from the critics, making her our "State Champion" in the area of light design.
If you see them be sure to congratulate the theatre students on their awesome work at the State Competition.
