*This is National School Counselors Week. We are very lucky at Arapahoe to have such wonderful people who serve on our counseling team. If you see them please give a word of thanks for all they do for us! They are tremendous!
*Are you in a band and want to show off your talent? Sign up for the first LPS Battle of the Bands hosted by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! The event takes place Friday, February 25th at Mission Hills Church. Get your band together and sign up. For more information head to the library and ask for a flyer. Let's show the other schools that Arapahoe has the best bands!
*Seniors! Herff Jones, our official graduation partner, will be here on Thursday, February, 17th from 11:45 am - 2:15 pm to deliver your official graduation announcements. If you placed an order for graduation announcements, make sure to stop by and see Herff Jones in the main entrance bubble to pick up your order. Still interested in ordering graduation announcements? You can place an order on their website www.herffjones.com. There are limited qualities of graduation announcements left, so make sure to place your order as soon as possible! *Defy reality with Oculus! Stop by the Tech Experience Lab in the Soldier Wolf study room during 4th period! Come experience the VR headset that is redefining digital gaming. We'll be keeping score on Beat Saber! Highest score on a normal difficulty song by February 20th will receive a prize!
Athletics
*Welcome back to our Varsity Toms who made program history, placing 5th in the Nation with their Game Day routine last weekend in Orlando! The Toms also made semi-finals in both Hip-Hop and Pom, missing finals for Hip-Hop by a narrow 11/100ths of a point. Congratulations Toms on an incredible weekend!!
*So you think you can dance? Then we want to see your moves!! Tryouts for the 2022-23 Toms dance team will take place March 15-18th. There will be an informational meeting for Parents and Dancers on Tuesday, February 15th at 6:30pm in the Forum. Attendance at an information meeting will be required in order to audition.
*Today, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, eat at Noodles & Company at Streets of Southglenn to support the Girls Swim & Dive team. When ordering, mention AHS Girls Swim & Dive Team or present the attached flyer upon placing your order before paying. Thank you for your support!
*Warriors join us for the Girls Basketball Senior Night tomorrow. We will be honoring the seniors before the start of their home game against Cherokee Trail at 7:00 pm. Come and help us celebrate these seniors and cheer the team on against Cherokee Trail!
*Come and support your Warriors Unified Basketball as they take on Cherokee Trail, at Cherokee Trail, tomorrow at 4:15 pm.
*Please come out to support your Boys Basketball team this Saturday to celebrate the Senior players. The celebration starts at 4:30 pm, with prizes for fans! The game begins at 5:00 pm at Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Be there!
*Boys Volleyball: The inaugural season of CHSSA sponsored LPS Boys Volleyball will officially begin February 28th!
