General Announcements

*Join us in the Library TODAY during your lunch and get crafty with the Arapahoe Public Libraries. We will be making Shrinky Dinks.

*Come support your Unified Warriors TODAY as we take on the Grandview Wolves at Grandview at 4:15pm. We would love to have your support! Go Warriors!

*Warriors! EPIC and ACC reps will be on campus next Monday, February 3rd and again on Tuesday February 11th, during lunch to answer all your questions about enrolling in CE courses for next year. Stop by and see them if you need help scheduling CE and EPIC classes!

*Seniors - are you thinking of taking a gap year after graduation. Join us this Sunday, February 2nd from 1:00pm-4:00pm in the Trophy hall for a USA Gap Year Fair: AHS is once again hosting this unique fair featuring dozens of vendors showcasing programs in travel, cultural immersion, service, work experience, and mentorship (some open to teachers)! Registration is encouraged

Warriors! We need your help in creating exciting booths for our Wish Week Carnival. Be creative, and think outside the box! Our Wish kid, Joel loves racing, bikes, Bluey and cars. This amazing fundraiser is on Friday, February 28th from 5:00-8:00pm. Sign up using this form or come see Mrs. Romero! Don’t miss your chance to help our incredible Wish kid, Joel.

Athletics

*Good luck to all the girls competing in this weekend's Centennial A-League Swimming & Diving Championships at Arapahoe pool! The preliminary swimming session begins TONIGHT at 5:30pm with diving is on Saturday at 9:00am. Swimming finals will be Saturday at 3:00pm. The girls have been diligently and enthusiastically preparing for this weekend's meet since November! Come out and cheer on your Warriors! Good luck girls!... Be the bee. Tickets are adults $6/$7 cash/credit, students $6/$7 cash/credit, seniors 65+ free, No AHS student passes will be accepted.

*Come cheer on your Girls Basketball teams TONIGHT at Grandview. Varsity plays @ 5:30pm after JV plays at 4:00.

*Way to go, Freshman and Sophomore Boys Basketball teams! They both won their games against Grandview last night. The Freshman score was 44-38 and the Sophomore score was 27-19. Come on out to Grandview TONIGHT and support your boys JV and Varsity teams as they take on the Wolves! The Varsity team tips off at 7:00 p.m. at Grandview HS. Go Warriors!

*Good luck to our 6 Speech and Debate Warriors competing in a tournament this weekend at Cherokee Trail. Students still interested in Speech and Debate are always welcome. See the AHS Activities site for more information on joining this group. Good luck Warriors.

*Your Arapahoe Boys Varsity Basketball team lost a tough battle at the buzzer to Overland last night with a final score of 66-68. JV lost a tough game too. They are hoping you can all come out and support them on the road TOMORROW night as they travel to Grandview. Varsity tips off at 7:00 p.m. Let's Go Warriors!

*Congratulations once again to our lower-level Boys Basketball teams for tough games against Overland last night. The Sophomore team lost by 3 in overtime, and the Freshmen beat the Trailblazers handedly 59-35! Catch your JV and Varsity Boys in action TONIGHT. Varsity tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. at Overland High School.

*Warriors - join the 2025 LPS Boys Volleyball team at our open gym TONIGHT in the AHS Aux gym from 8:00pm-10:00pm. Check out our website and join our email list to receive information about open gyms and tryouts for the 2025 season!

*The Boys Swimming & Diving team will be holding their organizational meeting TONIGHT at 7:00pm in the Forum. Be sure to attend the meeting to get important information on the upcoming season. The Boys Swimming & Diving team is a no-cut spring sport that welcomes all levels of swimmers and divers! Please enter through the Forum doors.

*Our lower-level Boys Basketball teams took on Eaglecrest last night. The freshmen and JV teams lost close battles, but the sophomores won their game on the road. Come catch your Varsity team in action TOMORROW night at Overland High School at 7:00 p.m. Go Warriors!

*Get ready to cheer on our Girls Basketball teams as they take on the Overland Blazers TOMORROW at Overland. Varsity plays at 5:30pm after JV at 4:00pm.

*Good luck to our Warrior Toms Dance team as they head to Florida TOMORROW to compete at the National Dance Team Championship! They have been working hard all year long in preparation to hit the Nationals floor! If you see any of them, wish them good luck! Way to represent Arapahoe!

Athletics

*Congratulations to the more than 35 girls who finished their swim season on Saturday at the Centennial B-League Championships, which were held at Smoky Hill High School! You can be proud of your Warriors for representing you with incredible enthusiasm, team spirit, and Warrior pride! The girls swimmers and divers will next see action at home this weekend as they host the Centennial A-League Championships on Friday evening and all day Saturday!

*The Boys Swimming & Diving team will be holding their organizational meeting next Tuesday, January 28 at 7:00pm in the Forum. Be sure to attend the meeting to get important information on the upcoming season. The Boys Swimming & Diving team is a no-cut spring sport that welcomes all levels of swimmers and divers!

*Congratulations to our Boys Basketball teams for sweeping the Mullen Mustangs on Saturday night here at home! The final lower-level team scores were as follows: Freshmen 37-27, Sophomores 52-45, and JV 57-38. Your varsity boys moved to a record of 13 & 2 on the season with their 53-41 victory! Special thanks to all the band, cheerleaders, and all the fans for showing up to support! You can catch the Varsity boys in action at Overland this Wednesday night at 7:00pm. Go Warriors!

*Seniors: are you planning to major in a STEM field this fall? Check out University Hills Rotary Scholarship worth up to $6000 toward your education! You must have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need. Apply by February 28th. Stop by the Postsecondary Center for more information.

Athletics

*Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving team who won their final dual meet of the season last night against Eaglecrest! The girls finished their dual meet season with a record of 5-2-1. The girls are next in action tomorrow at the Centennial B-League Championships at Smoky Hill. Good luck to all our swimmers and diver!

*Hey Warriors - are you the King or Queen of Basketball Knockout? If you think you are then come and prove it TOMORROW at the Girl's Basketball game against Mullen at Sitting Eagle Gym. At halftime, we'll have a Knockout basketball contest for the first 20 students to pick up a raffle ticket. If you win the game you will win some free Chick-fil-a! Come on out and show your skills! The game starts at 5:30pm, see you there!

*Arapahoe Toms Dance team is having their annual Jr. Toms Winter Dance Clinic on February 5th from 4:30pm-7:30pm! Calling all K-8 dancers to come learn a routine and perform with the Toms at halftime of the varsity basketball game. Register by clicking here or scan the QR code on our flyer. Register by January 25th to guarantee T-shirt size.

*Calling all Warriors - Are you King or Queen of the Half Court shot? If you think you are then come and prove it TOMORROW at the Boy's Basketball game against Mullen in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium! At halftime, we’ll have a Knockout basketball contest for the first 20 students to pick up a raffle ticket. If you make a half court shot, you will win a certificate for a Free Jersey Mike's sub sandwich! Come on out and show your skills! The game starts at 7:00pm.
