General Announcements

Attention all students: Due to CSAP testing in the library we will not be open for student use on March 14,15 and 16 until 12:30. Students will not be allowed in for any reason. This will be in effect Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

Good luck to Arapahoe's Top Jazz Band, Retrospect; The Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs; and Arapahoe's 2nd Jazz Band, Images - at tomorrow's Mile High Jazz Festival, to be held at Ralston Valley High School! Good luck to all you jazz musicians!!!

Don't forget the Choir and Orchestra Concert in the theatre at 7:00 on Thursday night. The Concert Choir, Choralettes, Arapahoe Singers and Orchestra will be performing. Join us for an evening of singing, dancing and wonderful music.

Scuba diver on the front, more memorable pictures and words inside—fellow MUSE staff let’s come to the meeting this Wednesday to celebrate our successes. We need you at the meeting to discuss the rest of the year and plans for the next. Email one of the sponsors if you are unable to attend. See you Wednesday!

Come join the Arapahoe Rescue Organization. This is the only organization in the nation run entirely by youth for search and rescue. We assist the Arapahoe County Sheriff Department and the Littleton Fire Department. We will be meeting Friday, March 10, 2006 during 4th hour, 10:30am to 12:10pm in the Forum at AHS. Please come hear the facts and details.

Are you a typing whiz and good with Word, PowerPoint and Excel and haven't taken ICA yet? The ICA Proficiency Exam is being offered on Thursday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 14th from 2:30 - 4:00 after school in Rooms S2 and S3. If you pass this exam, you will be able to enroll in Computer Apps 1 next year instead of ICA. Don't miss this important opportunity - stop by the Business Department if you have any questions!

Athletics

The Girl's Varsity tennis team opened their season in a big way yesterday defeating ThunderRidge 6-1. Winning for the varsity were: Lauren Craig; Suzanne Chang; Jenna Dornseif and Celeste Lorenzo; Leisha Bryant and Lauren Stemper; Katie Maxey and Laine Pacetti; Annie Lorenzo and Jenny Morris. We will host Regis tomorrow at the Arapahoe courts. Please come out and support your Lady Warrior tennis team.

Hey volleyball players! Don't forget our short meeting TODAY after school in the forum. We'll be discussing open gym and summer events. If you can't make it, see Coach Syers, ASAP. Thanks!

The physical education swimming waiver test will be held at 6 am both this Thursday and Friday morning, March 9th and 10th.
