General Announcements

Seniors: Plan to pick up your tickets for Graduation, tomorrow, May 9, in the cafeteria during both lunches.

Hey Warriors! Do you have old formal dresses hanging in your closet collecting dust? If so, bring them in. Student Council is having a Formal Dress Drive for disabled teens. Drop your dresses off near the women’s PE office or in the front office throughout the day today, tomorrow and May 11th. Clean out your closet for a good cause.

SENIORS…..Mark your calendar, because this Thursday, May 10th is your deadline to return all Library materials. Thursday, May 16th is the deadline to pay all fines. Your cap & gown will be held if you have any outstanding fines. Be sure that you check both the library and bookkeeping lists located around the building.

Hey Habitat for Humanity members, anyone interested in leadership for next year should show up for a brief meeting after school tomorrow, May 9th in C18.

Tomorrow night is the Annual Spring Band Concert! We’ll feature Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. There will be a closing selection with all 3 bands – The 2007 Marching Band Field Show, “La Fiesta!” will be performed in its entirety!! Sean Case, Senior Marimba Soloist, will be featured with Wind Ensemble. Sean was our 1st place winner in the 2006 First Annual Concerto Competition. Pre-Concert Ensembles start performing in the Theater at 6pm, with the Main Concert following at 7pm. It’s free – hope to see you there!

There will be a short meeting after school Friday in C15 for last year's and this year's speech club officers. Please try to attend!

Athletics

Attention Boy’s golfers: There will be a meeting tomorrow, May 9th at 2:25 in room S8 for all boys interested in trying out for the golf team in August. If you cannot attend this brief but important meeting, leave a message in Coach Anderson’s mailbox or in the athletic office.

Congratulations to our 2007-2008 Arapahoe High School Warrior Cheers! Out of a very large group of talented athletes, 18 girls were chosen for the Junior Varsity team and 20 for the Varsity team. A list of our new Cheers is posted on the athletic bulletin board outside of the main office in the cafeteria. Way to go, Warriors!

Attention all lady lacrosse warriors. There will be an optional shooting practice at Newton Middle school at 3pm today for all those wanting to participate.

Student Initiated Groups-

There will be NO GSA meeting this week. The last meeting of the year will be on Thursday May 17th after school in W-101.
The Remember Club asks you to buckle up and take care of one another.
