General Announcements

Arapahoe will be holding its annual Winter Dance on Saturday, January 26th from 7-10 pm in the cafeteria.

The theme this year is Royal Blizzard Ball. The attire is semi-formal, no jeans are allowed.

This dance is a Sadie Hawkins dance which means that the girls invite the boys. If you are a 10, 11, or 12th grader and you want to invite someone from another school, permission forms are in the guidance office and must be turned in by 3pm Thursday, January 24th. Tickets will go on sale today and the prices are $10 per person in advance and $15 at the door.

Those of you interested in entering national competition for scholarships and prizes may be interested in entering the Arapahoe School-wide poetry competition sponsored by Poetryoutloud.org. The Arapahoe student who memorizes an 8 - 60 line poem and performs today, after school in the forum may represent Arapahoe in the Denver area competition on February 19. If you are interested, see Ms. Graham or speak to your English teacher.
