General Announcements

Staff and students just as a reminder, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) will be taking place tomorrow. For those students who are participating, please report to the Forum by 8:25 AM.

Does your life lack culture, humor, and entertainment? Are you on a tight budget? Then come see the winter production of “The Man Who Came to Dinner” Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at 7pm. Tickets are sold at lunch for only 5 dollars.

PLAN test results are in! If you took the PLAN, you can pick up your test results in the Guidance Office.

A reminder to freshmen STUCO officers: we have a meeting today after school in room C-12.

There is a mandatory meeting for all LINK Crew Leaders this Thursday, Jan 31st right after school in the forum!
If you cannot attend you must see Mr. Trotter!

Attention all FCCLA members:
Please plan to attend a very important meeting today after school in room E2. We will be discussing our upcoming conferences (both district and state) as well as spring community service projects. You must attend this meeting if you are planning to attend and compete at the state conference in April. Snacks will be provided.

Person 1: You know, I wish I could play the piano as well as Mr. Thurmond!
Person 2: Mr. Thurmond plays the piano?
Person 1: Yeah he does! He’ll be at the Teacher Talent Show on February 7th at 7 pm in the auditorium! You should come!
Person 2: Oh, I’ll be there! I heard the teachers are doing their faculty dance again! I’ll get my tickets in advance during lunch for $5! Or maybe I’ll get them at the auditorium door…
Person 1: Well either way, I’ll see you there! It’ll be a blast!

Spanish Club will be going to the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant next Tuesday night, February 5th for a fun night of salsa dancing! Join us in experiencing culture with rhythms and great food, and dance the night away! See Ms. DiSepio to sign up ~ all are welcome.

Attention Model UN delegates! Position statements are due ASAP. There will be a mock debate after school today at 2:30 in N6. See Ms. DiSepio or Ms. Hurt with any questions

Hey all you MUSE members,We're having a meeting today, after school, in room C-17. We will be discussing final decisions on submissions and layout. Remember to come!

Athletics

The boys basketball team would like to thank the loyal fans who cheer them on at their games. Friday they play Mt. Vista on our home court. Come and support your Arapahoe boys basketball team and you may go home with a cookie bouquet!

Attention all students! Habitat for Humanity is raising money to build a house this summer and we need your help! Habitat will have a table in the cafeteria during both lunches, so stop by and donate your spare change. All proceeds go to the house and a deserving Denver family.
