Attention all French Students! Our first French Club meeting will be held TODAY at 2:30 in Room C-21. Please come! We need your ideas! Food will be served.
Attention all talented students! The homecoming talent show is coming up fast and auditions are next week on Tuesday, Sept. 9 and Wednesday, Sept. 10. Sign up for an audition in the main office and don’t forget to pick up all of your audition forms.
Attention freshmen! The candidates for your student council cabinet are campaigning this week. Elections will take place in the cafeteria all day on Friday, September 5th, so pay attention to your possible representatives. Information about each is posted in the cafeteria. You must have your student ID to vote on Friday. Good luck, candidates!
Attention Seniors: The deadline for getting your senior class panoramic group picture ordered at the lowest price is this Saturday at midnight. Extra order envelopes are available in the main office, or you can order online at: http://www.bigclasspicture.com/
For any Junior or Senior athlete who is planning on playing Division I or II athletics there will be a meeting on Thursday, September 11 during either lunch in the Forum to go over the changes in NCAA eligibility for 2008. Please sign up in the Guidance Center and we will print an eligibility transcript for you to work through at this session in order to check your eligibility. The sign up sheet will be on Mr. Bast’s door in the Guidance Center. See you on Thursday and bring a pencil.
Seniors and Juniors: It is Fall College Visit Season! Each fall, Arapahoe welcomes a large number of college representatives. Please take advantage of this opportunity by signing up in Naviance for colleges and then picking up a blue pass in the Guidance/Post Grad Center. Please limit visits during classes to 3. You may come to as many visits as you like during unscheduled hours. College visits begin on Tuesday, September 9, but most are scheduled the week of September 29.
Those interested in working behind the scenes on the Fall play please check callboard in the Theatre hallway. If you would like to interview for crew chief positions see Mr. Earley to set up an interview time asap.
Homecoming Dance Guest forms can be picked up in the Attendance/Activities Office. Only Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are allowed to bring guests from other schools. All guests must currently be in High School or under the age of 21.
Athletics
Congrats to Warrior Volleyball for their sweep last night against Rock Canyon. All five teams...Fresh A, Fresh B, Soph, JV, and Varsity were victorious. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the teams, especially our rowdy gentlemen...the warriors play again tonight at Chaparral at 7 pm. Good luck!
