Attention all talented students! The homecoming talent show is coming up fast and auditions are today and Wednesday. Sign up for an audition in the main office and don’t forget to pick up all of your audition forms.

Attention Seniors: Make sure you turn in your Homecoming T-shirt order forms on Thursday and Friday at lunch in the cafeteria. Or, give them to one of your senior class officers anytime this week.
Spanish club will be having a meeting tomorrow after school at 2:30 in C-21. Come get information for our first event this Sunday in downtown Denver. Everyone is welcome, not just those who speak Spanish!
Attention all NHS members! Our first meeting is this Wednesday, September 10th. Please come to the forum at 2:20 for a short information session on club requirements and service opportunities this year. See you there!
For any Junior or Senior athlete who is planning on playing Division I or II athletics there will be a meeting on Thursday, September 11 during either lunch in the Forum to go over the changes in NCAA eligibility for 2008. Please sign up in the Guidance Center and we will print an eligibility transcript for you to work through at this session in order to check your eligibility. The signup sheet will be on Mr. Bast’s door in the Guidance Center. See you on Thursday and bring a pencil.
All Freshman interested in helping out with the homecoming float, please plan on coming to a meeting in room S-9 directly after school on Thursday, Sept. 11th.
Homecoming Dance Guest forms can be picked up in the Attendance/Activities Office. Only Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are allowed to bring guests from other schools. All guests must currently be in High School or under the age of 21.
Juniors and Seniors: The RMASS PSAT/SAT Test Preparation Seminar will be held at Arapahoe High School on Monday, September 15th and Tuesday September 16th. If you want to register for this seminar, please see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office.
This is a reminder that tomorrow – September 10th is a PLC Day. Classes will begin at 9:21!! So enjoy those extra hours of sleep or time for extra projects.
It’s time to cheer on your football team! This Friday, the 12th of September, Link Crew is hosting the freshman tailgate party. Meet in the parking lot by the track at 4:30 for food and fun. The cost for food is $3.00. There will be free transportation to the game, but you will need your own ride home. Freshmen, this is your chance to support Arapahoe, see you there!

Athletics
Congratulations to the JV softball team for an amazing come from behind win yesterday against Douglas County. The Lady Warriors were trailing the entire game until the last inning when the bats came alive and the girls rallied to victory. The Warriors defeated the Huskies by a score of 9 to 8. Good job ladies. Way to fight back!
Attention Warriors: Come on out to the AHS tennis courts and cheer your team as they go up against Cherry Creek. JV plays at Powell.
