General Announcements

Congratulations to the AHS Speech and Debate Team for receiving excellent and superior ratings at the first speech meet on Saturday at Regis High School. Way to go!!!!! Good luck this Saturday at Overland!
Congratulations to: Nicole Smith, Maddie Flatt, Richard Prati, Paul Albani-Burgio, Dawnielle Norris, Cali Rastreli, Matt Malech, Leslie Hackworth, and Jacob West-Roberts. Join Speech and Debate - See what it is all about tomorrow, Tuesday, in Room C15 after school.

The next TSA Meeting is today after school in room E10. New Members Welcome!! Please bring in paper work and dues in order to be considered for the first level of payment for lettering. Campaign speeches are tonight so please try to attend.

Picture retakes will be tomorrow, October 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 in the theater hallway. Please bring your original picture packet with you.

Would you like to pay off that library fine and at the same time donate to the Bronco Wives Food Drive? How, do you ask!? Now until October 28th you will receive a .25 credit off your fine balance for every non-perishable food donation you bring in to the library. To ensure that you receive credit toward your fine, personally hand your donation to any of the library staff. Help yourself while you help others.

Hey Arapahoe, DECA is collecting pink Yoplait Yogurt tops for breast cancer! There are collection boxes in the Deca store and room S-1. Bring in all your tops if you want to help fight against breast cancer!

Athletics

The Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams competed Saturday morning at the Legend Meet in Parker, with wind chills in the single digits. The Varsity Boys’ team took second place, led by top finishers Connor Jordan and Nick Tice. The Girls’ Varsity, led by Kayla Balciar and Taryn Phipps, took first place. The Centennial League meet is this Thursday at DeKoevend Park. Both teams look strong heading into the postseason.
