General Announcements

The Band program presents its first ever Fall Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the theater. The concert band, symphonic band, and wind ensemble will be the featured performing groups.

Attention juniors and seniors. Remember PSEO applications for winter/spring college classes are due to your Guidance Counselor by 3pm today. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to take college classes!

Trick or Treat Street is almost here! FBLA, come to our meeting tomorrow in room S3 to finalize our plans working with Key Club for Saturday’s fantastic Trick or Treat Street.. It is not too late to join FBLA. Come build your future!

Students: There are only a few days left in the Broncos canned food drive! Tomorrow will be the last day for collection, so be sure to get your cans to school! Remember: your contributions help a great cause and could earn Arapahoe a Broncos assembly! Thanks for your help!

Attention all pumpkin carving teams for the FCCLA carving contest: Please plan to arrive on Wednesday around 2:45 to room E2 (the foods room) for final instructions. Have your theme ready and planned so we can begin promptly at 3:00. Carving will take place from 3:00-4:00 with judging immediately after. See you there Warrior carving teams!

Attention mathematicians! The University of Northern Colorado Math Competition is scheduled for Friday, October 30, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. in Rooms N-2 and N-3. Please see Mr. Low or Mrs. Lobser with questions.

On Friday, please remember that all Halloween costumes must follow the Arapahoe school dress code. No masks, no face paint, no hoods, and faces must be visible. Please see an administrator if you have any questions.

Fun, Fun, Run, Run! The Littleton Stride 5k Run is coming up soon. Register for the Littleton Stride through your PE teachers. The race is on Saturday, November 7th at 8:30 a.m. We hope to see you at the Stride!



Athletics

Congratulations to the JV football team for their 23-13 win over Cherokee Trail last weekend – and thanks to all the fans who cheered them on!

Congratulations to the Freshmen Football team for their latest win on Saturday over Cherokee 35-8. The team overcame some early struggles and pulled together to dominate the Cougars. The win moves the Freshman record to 7 and 1. Come out and support these warriors this Saturday at 9:00 AM against Smokey Hill in their final league game. Come out and see the future!

Attention Boys Junior Varsity soccer players! Uniform check-in will be this Thursday at 2:30 in room C-7. The meeting is mandatory and you must have your complete uniform.

Winter Sports Registration will take place next week. Boys and Girls basketball will register on Monday, November 2nd, Girls Swimming and Diving on Tuesday, November 3rd and Wrestling on Wednesday, November 4th. All athletes will need to bring their completed paperwork to Room S4 at 2:30 pm. Do not delay your registration process or it will hinder your participation in tryouts beginning Thursday, November 12th!
