Attention mathematicians! Today is the BIG day! The University of Northern Colorado Math Contest will be held in rooms N-2 and N-3 after school from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Snacks will be provided. See Mr. Low or Mrs. Lobser with questions.
Did you see the Arapahoe Colorguard this fall at any Football Games? Perhaps you would like to be a part of such an amazing performance ensemble! If you would like to be a part of this great team for the 2010 Winterguard Season, please attend our informational meeting on Wednesday, November 4th at 7pm in the AHS Band Room! Fun, Fun, Run, Run! The Littleton Stride 5k Run is coming up soon. Register for the Littleton Stride through your PE teachers. The race is on Saturday, November 7th at 8:30 a.m. We hope to see you at the Stride!
As promised we would like to announce the winners for both the student and staff Halloween candy jars.
The winner of the student candy jar located in the library is….freshman Sarah Stephan with the correct guess of 68. Sarah, please come down to the library and pick up your candy pumpkin when you have a free hour!
The winner of the staff candy jar located in the Main Office is Math teacher Mr. Holman with the correct guess of 54. Mr. Holman, come down to the library and pick up your candy jar! Congratulations to both winners!
Athletics
Attention swimmers and divers - The Warrior swimming and diving clinics will take place today at the regularly scheduled times. See coach Richmond if you have any questions.
The Freshman and JV Football games with Smoky Hill have been cancelled for Saturday, October 31st.
The State Cross Country meet that was scheduled for Saturday, October 31st has been postponed to Saturday, November 7th at Fossil Ridge High School.
The Varsity Football team will play Smoky Hill tonight at 7:00 pm at the Stutler Bowl.
Come cheer on the Boys’ Soccer team as they host Columbine in the first round of state playoffs to be held on Saturday, October 31st at 11:00 am at LPSS.
The Volleyball team will also be competing at Districts on Saturday at Pine Creek High School against Arvada West at 9:00 am. Go Warriors!
Winter Sports Registration will take place next week. Boys and Girls basketball will register on Monday, November 2nd, Girls Swimming and Diving on Tuesday, November 3rd and Wrestling on Wednesday, November 4th. All athletes will need to bring their completed paperwork to Room S4 at 2:30 pm. Do not delay your registration process or it will hinder your participation in tryouts beginning Thursday, November 12th!
