The canned food drive continues! Please keep bringing cans of food to school for the Broncos Canned Food Drive. Remember that the Class of 2013 is also collecting cans at this Saturday’s freshmen football game. Please bring cans of food and come watch your undefeated Warrior freshmen football team take on the Mustangs of Mullen this Saturday at 9:00 right here at AHS.
The next TSA Meeting is Monday, Oct 12th after school in room E10. New Members Welcome!! Please bring in paper work and dues in order to be considered for the first level of payment for lettering. Also, if you want to run for an officer position and haven’t turned in your officer application form, Please get it to Mr. McMullen TODAY!!
Picture retakes will be next Tuesday, October 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 in the theater hallway. Please bring your original picture packet with you.
Hey Arapahoe, DECA is collecting pink Yoplait Yogurt tops for breast cancer! There are collection boxes in the Deca store and room S-1. Bring in all your tops if you want to help fight against breast cancer!
Athletics
Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer team who defeated Smokey Hill 3 – 0 yesterday. Congrats sent to the Boys JV Soccer team as they crushed Smokey Hill yesterday 8 – 0.
Congratulations to the girls’ varsity softball team on winning their final game of the year yesterday. The lady warriors defeated Valor by a score of 20 – 0. Way to go ladies!
Your Boys’ Varsity Tennis team took 2nd place at the regional tournament and qualified all eleven varsity players for the state tennis tournament to be held next week. Congratulations guys!
Congrats to the Sophomore, JV and Varsity Volleyball teams for their wins over Cherokee Trail last night. Varsity improves to 3-0 in the league and 12-3 overall. They take on Mullen and Overland next week Tuesday and Thursday. Good luck!
