Then stop by the Forum during your lunch period on Monday, February 1st to learn more about these and other exciting programs offered through ACTS (Arapahoe/Douglas Career & Technical School)

This announcement is for all 17 and 18 year old men. If you have not registered with the Selective Service, this is the time to do it. Federal law requires all men living in the US to register within a month of their 18th birthday. Registering keeps you eligible for college loans, job training, government jobs and driver’s license renewal in most states. You can get a Selective Service registration card at your local post office or register online at www.sss.gov. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Snyder in the Guidance Office. Be sure to register for Selective Service as soon as you can. Your future depends on it.

Attention National Honor Society—we are having an important meeting for all members, new and old, this Wednesday right after school in the Forum. Please plan to attend

Attention all students, if you haven’t picked up your semester report card in the Guidance Center, Please do so by Friday. After Friday they will be shredded

Attention Chess Club Players!! The Yearbook Photo will be taken today after school in the Enrichment Room across from E-3.

We have placed a money jug in the DECA store for donations for the victims in Haiti. If you would like to contribute, please stop by the DECA Store. Thanks!

Attention all Juniors and Seniors! Have you ever wanted to strut your stuff on the catwalk? Well, now’s your chance. We need models for the 2010 Prom Fashion. All interested guys and girls can pick up an application in the Business Office starting today.

Athletics

The Arapahoe Girls swimming and diving team will compete at home today vs. rival Heritage. The dual meet will begin at 4 PM.

Attention all girls interested in playing tennis this spring: There is a mandatory meeting today from 630-8 pm in the forum. All girls and their parents will be expected to attend. If you can’t attend, you need to see Coach Brayton in the science office as soon as possible.


NCAA Signing Day will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:30 am in the Arapahoe High School cafeteria. All Seniors who will be continuing their athletic endeavors on the college level for Fall 2010 need to please stop by the Athletic Office before Wednesday, January 27th so we may have the correct information to honor these athletes on signing day.
