General Announcements

Congratulations to the following students who are invited to participate in the Final Round of the University of Northern Colorado Math Competition on the Greeley Campus on Saturday, January 30th: John Logan Brock, Elijah Kuhn, Max Eshleman, Quan Mao, Alexis Fons, Matthew Friedrich, Jasmine Griffin, Dennis Kutateladze, Tom Roberts and Christopher Spaulding.

What, you may ask, is Muse-a –palooza? Well, what’s more fun than a dancing goose-ah? What’s as good as a ten-day cruise-ah? What’s more tasty than a glass of cold juice-ah? When you’re feeling uptight, what will make you feel loose-ah? What will get rid of your winter blues-ah? What will make you feel like you just got new shoes-ah? Thursday at 7:00 in the Forum-a-dooza! Your friends will be jamming and making the news-ah! Now there’s no excuse-ah, get to Muse-a-palooza!

Attention Warriors: Arapahoe Crime Stoppers provides anonymous information boxes located around the building. The boxes allow the opportunity to provide ANONYMOUS information about any illegal or detrimental activity in the Arapahoe community. The boxes are in the Attendance office, DECA Store, Counseling Office, and the Library. See a campus supervisor or your favorite Administrator for more information.

Then stop by the Forum during your lunch period on Monday, February 1st to learn more about these and other exciting programs offered through ACTS (Arapahoe/Douglas Career & Technical School) Any questions see Mrs. Boyce in the Guidance Office

Hey guys…don’t let your 18th birthday go by without registering with Selective Service. There’s really nothing to it, and you’ve got to do it. After all, it’s the law and it only takes 5 minutes. Besides, you must register to be eligible for federal student loans, job training benefits, most federal employment, and enrollment in state colleges and universities. So, if you’re a guy about to turn 18, you can register at the Post Office or go online at www.sss.gov. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Snyder in the Guidance Office.

Attention all students, if you haven’t picked up your semester report card in the Guidance Center, Please do so by Friday. After Friday they will be shredded

We have placed a money jug in the DECA store for donations for the victims in Haiti. If you would like to contribute, please stop by the DECA Store. Thanks!

Attention all Juniors and Seniors! Have you ever wanted to strut your stuff on the catwalk? Well, now’s your chance. We need models for the 2010 Prom Fashion Show. All interested guys and girls can pick up an application in the Business Office starting today.

Athletics
The Freshman and Sophomore Girls’ Basketball teams play Mullen tonight in the AHS gym. Freshmen play at 5:30 and Sophomores follow at 7:00. Come make some noise against this rivalry!
