Any student that was in Mrs. Crookham's class first semester or is currently in her class is welcome to come to S-12 on Thursday, Feb. 17 for a Noodle party. Please come at the beginning of first lunch or at the beginning of second lunch. Thank you for making her SMART Board a reality!
The Alive at 25 class is this Saturday Feb. 20th. Remember students…it’s FREE. The class will run from 8am to 12:30pm and it’s FREE. Register for the Alive at 25 class at www.aliveat25.us
Athletics
Congratulations to our Arapahoe Varsity Cheers! The team traveled to Orlando, Florida this past weekend to compete in the 2010 National High School Cheerleading Championships. The team performed two amazing routines in prelims and semifinals of the Large Varsity Division I group. Arapahoe finished 13th in the nation in the competition! Way to go Warriors! The Arapahoe girls swimming and diving team placed 6th at the State HS Championship meet on Saturday. Leading the way for the Warriors was Beth Ambrozic who placed 2nd in diving. Dani Howe placed 12th. Morgan Turley, Megan Perron, Alyssa Countway and Jennifer Cozzette in the 200 Medley Relay achieved All-American status and are the 2nd fastest medley relay team in Arapahoe history. Also placing in the top 8 at state are senior Megan Perron in the 100 breaststroke. Additional placers include: freshman Emily Mayo in the 100 and 200 freestyle, Miranda Reetz in the 200 IM, Savannah Rose and Bridget Louis in the 500 freestyle. The relay foursome of: Liz Smith, Alyssa Countway, Emily Mayo, and Jennifer Cozzette placed in the top 8 –while Liz Smith, Emily Mayo, Bridgette Louis and Morgan Turley placed 9th. Boys & Girls Track Registration will take place at 2:20 pm today in Classroom S4. Required paperwork is available for pick up in the Athletic Office. Please make sure to have this paperwork completed before you come to registration.
Attention all boys swimmers and divers, there will be a boys meeting in the pool area immediately after school today February 16th. Please be in the pool area immediately after school.
