General Announcements
Congratulations to the DECA students who competed at the State conference in Colorado Springs! We had a very successful trip, finishing with 11 finalists and one student, Keri Neujahr, qualified for Nationals!
Class of 2010: If you ordered graduation announcements you can pick them up Wednesday, March 3rd during lunch in the cafeteria.
Attention all students: CSAP testing for Freshmen and Sophomores will begin Monday, March 8th through Thursday, March 11th. Room assignments will be posted on Wednesday in the Cafeteria and Trophy Hall. Please check your room assignment in advance and come to the Attendance Office if you have any questions.
Attention sophomore and juniors! Reminder that ACTS applications are due Monday March 1st to your counselor. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Boyce in the guidance office.
Come Join the Jump Rope Club. The jump rope club begins meeting on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm. No experience necessary! Come out for some fun, learn new tricks, and get in shape. Jump Rope Club begins on Wed. March 3rd. See Mrs. Abner if you have any questions.
Athletics
Hey Warriors! Are you interested in possibly becoming a member of the Arapahoe Cheerleading Program? If so, please plan to attend an informational meeting with your parents on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the AHS Forum. The meeting is mandatory for all students interested in trying out for a spot on the 2010-2011 JV and Varsity teams. See Mrs. Pramenko if you have any questions!
The boy’s basketball team will host Loveland in the 2nd Round of the State Playoffs on Friday, February 26th at 7:00 pm in the Sitting Eagle Gymnasium here at Arapahoe. The gym will open at 6:15 pm for admission with prices being set at $6 for adults and $5 for students. CHSAA and CHSCA passes will be accepted but no student or league passes. Go Warriors!
