General Announcements

Cast and crew of the Buff Buckaroo would like to thank you. You were a great audience. We had a great time and hope you did too!

Did you know Mr. Trotter is in a BAND? That Mrs. Kitch is an acrobat? That Bob Ross will be coming to Arapahoe High School? And you have the opportunity to watch these incredible acts in the AHS Teacher Talent Show! Come at 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 10th to watch an amazing presentation of the secret talents of Arapahoe teachers. Tickets are $5 and will be available at both lunches and at the door. Don’t miss out!

“TSA…IS ONLY 2 WEEKS AWAY. The next TSA meeting is today after school in E10. It will be a brief business meeting followed by open lab work time to get those AWESOME competitive event projects completed. All members attending State should attend! See Mr. McMullen for questions.”

If you signed up to donate blood this Wednesday at the NHS blood drive, don’t forget to complete the permission form that was delivered to you last week. Remember that the form requires your parent’s signature, even if you are 18 years old. Please bring the form with you on Wednesday when you arrive to donate in the athletic training room by the main athletic entrance at your allotted time. If you have any questions, talk to Mr. Smith in the science office or Ms. Leclaire in the Language Arts office. Thanks so much for being willing to donate!

Attention sophomores and juniors. Did you know that you can take college courses that can count as both high school and college credit? If you are interested, please attend an informational meeting regarding the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program on Tuesday, February 9th in the Forum during your lunch period. A representative of the PSEO program will provide information on how to take part in this exciting program. See you there. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Boyce in the Guidance Office.

***ATTENTION WARRIORS***
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and the Sophomore and Freshmen class will be selling cookies for this special day, during both lunches in the cafeteria on today till Thursday February 11th. The cost for these fabulous cookies will be $1.50. This is a fundraiser for prom warriors, so please contribute and buy a cookie for that someone special!!!

Athletics
The Arapahoe girls swimming and diving team placed 2nd at the Centennial League Championship meet Saturday. Leading the way for the Warriors were League champions Bridget Louis in the 500 freestyle and Beth Ambrozic in diving. New state qualifiers include: Liz Smith, Sarah Wilson, Ellen Johnston, Alyssa Countway and Hillary Redmond. Congratulations swimmers and divers

All girls interested in trying out for golf, there will be a mandatory meeting, Thursday, Feb 11 from 6:00-7:30 in the forum. At least one parent should also attend. If you have any questions, see Coach Wilson or Coach Abner.

There will be a pre-tryout boys lacrosse meeting tonight at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria. Please make sure to bring all your completed registration paperwork to this meeting if you have not turned it in to Mr. Geiser yet.
