National Honor Society will have its first meeting of 2012 this Wednesday after school in the forum. The meeting will be relatively short, but it will include some important information about upcoming volunteer opportunities. So if you're a NHS member, please plan to meet in the forum after school this Wednesday!
Hey Juniors and Seniors! Model applications for this year’s Prom Fashion show are now available in the business office! Stop by and pick one up if you are interested in modeling in this year’s show. All applications are due February 10th.
Don't forget, if you're interested in earning college credit through Concurrent Enrollment or Technical Education classes, come to the information meeting this Thursday in the forum during both lunches.
Club photos for the yearbook will be taken after school on Feb. 1st and 2nd. Ask your club sponsor for the photo schedule, or look for posters around school or see the Powerpoint slides at lunch.

Athletics:
Congratulations to the girls basketball team for another outstanding League win on Friday night over Cherokee Trail 44-25. The win was highlighted with tremendous "Team" Defense and Amanda Martinez's 14 points, which was a game high. Your Lady Warriors are currently 2nd in the Centennial League at 8 and 1 and a 12 and 5 overall record. The Lady Warriors are on the road this Wednesday at Smoky Hill and on Friday at Grandview. Come out and support your Lady Warriors Basketball team.
Come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against Transition 1 on Tuesday, January 31st at 7:00 p.m. in AHS’s main gym.
