General Announcements:

Guidance Center Presents . . . Tip of the Week: Remember, it is easier to stay ahead than to dig yourself out of a hole. Start the semester off right by staying on top of your assignments.

Congratulations to the following students for their performances in this past Saturday's speech meet at George Washington High School:

Peter Galloway placed 4th in National Extemporaneous Speaking
The team of Charlie Dean and Larson Ross placed 9th in Public Forum Debate

The Public Forum debate teams of Kati Ansay/Kelsey Common, Bronson Dowd/Lizzie Staphani, Nathan Ducey/Ben Siebold, and Jack Harvey/Sanjay Patil all earned excellent ribbons.

Nice job team! – especially since there were 35 schools competing!

All speech team members should plan to attend tomorrow’s meeting after school in C15 at 2:30.

Attention all Drama Club members. We will have a drama club meeting in the auditorium tomorrow, January 10th at 2:30.

TSA.....TSA....TSA. The next TSA meeting will be today after school in Room E10. This meeting is the absolute final day to turn in your paperwork and money for the annual TSA State Conference in February. If you are planning on attending this conference and haven't received the paperwork or need a new packet, please see Mr. McMullen TODAY.....oh, did I mention that today is the LAST day to turn in your paperwork and money for the State Conference?

Hey Keyclubbers . . . See you at the first meeting of the semester, today in Room C-16! Thanks for volunteering Arapahoe!

How many times in your life do you get a chance to relive it, and undo a mistake? Well, this is your chance...The Muse is opening a small window of time for all students who didn't get their writing or artwork to us in the fall semester to submit it now. Yes, you still have a chance, but it's absolutely your last chance to get your work published in the premier arts magazine in Colorado. But you'll have to act fast: our deadline--and I mean deadline--is Friday the 13th! Get it done, people, before the 13th. Simply go to the Arapahoe Home page and look under Activities for the Muse web page, where you'll find the directions on how to submit.
