Howdy Warriors, happy western Monday!  Tomorrow is Black and White Formal day!  Let’s see everyone wear those penguin colors!  Tomorrow is also the Royalty Assembly!  That means a modified schedule!  And of course, the Arapahoe Homecoming Dance is Saturday in the main gym from 8-11p.m!  Tickets are on sale for $10 during both lunches this week or $15 at the door!  Don’t forget, dress is semi-formal.  See you there! We’re also selling Homecoming t-shirts for $5 in the cafeteria.

Tomorrow is the Homecoming Royalty Assembly. You will see the Royalty Assembly schedule posted throughout the building on Gold paper. Please report to your 1st period class at 7:21 and you will be dismissed over the P.A.

Hey warriors! Want to have some great food and support your school?!  Join us for the DECA HOMECOMING BBQ this Wednesday out the south doors of the cafeteria during both lunches!

Homecoming Dance Reminder - If you plan on bringing a guest to Arapahoe's Homecoming Dance, please make sure you fill out the Homecoming Guest Pass Approval Form.  Bring your completed form with a copy of your guest's ID attached to Mrs. Scoglio in the Attendance office no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18th.

Senior Information Packets will be available in the Main office and Guidance office starting September 18th. Custom announcement and accessory information will be included. Please stop by promptly and pick up your packet.

We have been in school for about a month, and you still are not involved in an after school activity?  No sweat!  The drama club is still looking for students to help backstage with this year's fall production of It's A Wonderful Life. No experience necessary.  Come on down after school to the auditorium and see Mr. Ahern if you are interested.

Are you interested in being a part of the You Matter Club?  If so, join us for our first club meeting this Thursday at 2:30 in the Guidance Office Conference Room.  See Mrs. Talen or Dr. Song if you have any questions.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Mark your calendars and get moving for October 28th. The Stride 5k and 10k run takes place on Sunday, October 28th at Ketring Park in Littleton. This is a family fun fitness event to help support the Littleton Public Schools Foundation and Arapahoe High School. Register early to save $5.00 on registration fees. Register online at www.runthestride.com by Friday, Sept. 21st.

Hello Warriors! The Denver Komen Race for the Cure is Sunday, October 7, 2012! Arapahoe is defending our title of the largest high school team registered!  Join our team, and be a part of this amazing event. You can register by simply going to the Arapahoe High School home page and you'll find directions there.  Our Arapahoe Cheers and Toms will be at the start line to cheer on all participants. If you would like, you can walk with the AHS team as we show the world what it means to be a WARRIOR.   We race as Warriors to honor those who have survived breast cancer, those who are fighting it, those who have lost the fight, and for the hope of a cure. Let’s go Warriors!!!
