Warriors,
as you know, the Winter Formal Dance is this Saturday at 7:00. Please be aware
of the Littleton Public Schools Dance Policy. It is printed on the back of your
dance ticket. We are fortunate to be able to offer four dances a year and we
hope to continue this great Arapahoe tradition.
Hey
Nuggets fans. Friday, February 1st is Littleton Public Schools Community night
at the Denver Nuggets Game. One of our very own warriors, Gabriella Noreen,
will be performing at halftime with the Denver Nuggets Junior Elite Dance team.
Come out and support Gabriella and the Denver Nuggets. Purchase your tickets
through the link found on the Littleton Public Schools website.
Have you heard the
theory that an infinite amount of monkeys typing on an infinite amount of
typewriters would eventually produce Hamlet? It’s put to
the test in the winter play All in the Timing. January 31st through
February 2nd, tickets are $5.00
for students and $7.00 for adults. Go to Mr. Ahern’s teacher page to find
out how to buy tickets online, or buy them at lunch next week. The drama club
is also partnering with the AHS sock drive. Please bring used clothing
and new socks to the show and give your support to those less fortunate.
Hey Warriors, the
competition to create the official prom design has begun! This design will be
featured on the tickets and posters for this year's prom, "Beneath a
Painted Sky." The contest ends on the 1st of February, so be sure to
submit your ideas to Mrs. Crookham in the Math Office as soon as possible.
There will be a great prize for the winner, so enter today!
Hey seniors! In an
effort to prevent mistakes in the yearbook, we would like you to come to the
yearbook room to make sure that your senior photos and biographies are correct.
Please come by the hallway outside of the journalism Room E-8 to check for any
possible corrections.
Athletics
Congratulations to the
girls swim and dive team for beating Cherry Creek last night 155-151 in a very
exciting dual last night! Way to go Warriors! Our Warriors won both the JV and
Varsity meet last night. New state qualifiers include Jessica
Brooks, Olivia Morley and Georgia Burns and Savannah Rose.
Congratulations Warriors!
Come out to Mullen this
evening to support you 2nd ranked Varsity girls basketball team as
the take on Mullen at 5:30. The boys Varsity plays after the girls varsity, so
you can watch and support both teams at one site on the same night!

The
boys swim and dive season is almost here! For everyone who wants to be on
the 2013 AHS Boys Swim/Dive team, there is a team registration meeting tonight,
January 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Equipment, including the team
suits, needs to be ordered and paid for at the registration meeting so both
parents and students are asked to attend.

Athletic Registration is now open! Log on to www.ahswarriors.org and follow the instructions on the Home Page to sign
up for baseball, boys swim/dive, track and field, girls golf, girls soccer or girls
tennis.
