General Announcements

What does dating, déjà vu, monkeys, souvenirs, con men, may flies, construction workers, washing machines, cheese steak, toothaches, English professors, and a mountain climbers axe all have in common?  You can find them all in the comedic play All in the Timing which opens this Thursday and runs through the weekend.  Tickets go on sale at lunch today, or can be bought online. Students are $5.00, adults are $7.00. Go to Mr. Ahern’s teacher page to watch the preview of the show!

Hey Warriors, the competition to create the official prom design has begun! This design will be featured on the tickets and posters for this year's prom, "Beneath a Painted Sky." The contest ends on the 1st of February, so be sure to submit your ideas to Mrs. Crookham in the Math Office as soon as possible. There will be a great prize for the winner, so enter today!

It's time for the Arapahoe Herald's monthly survey. Please check your school email account or follow the link from the AHS webpage, and give us your opinions about relationships and the dating scene for the Valentines Day issue of the Herald.

Hey Nuggets fans. Friday, February 1st is Littleton Public Schools Community night at the Denver Nuggets Game. One of our very own warriors, Gabriella Noreen, will be performing at halftime with the Denver Nuggets Junior Elite Dance team. Come out and support Gabriella and the Denver Nuggets. Athletics

The JV girls basketball team beat Grandview 52-45 Friday night.  It was a tough game from the start with aggressive play by both teams.  High scorers were Jordyn Vega with 17pts and 6 steals and Maria Haas with 12 pts, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.  Their next game is Wednesday at home against Cherokee Trail at 5:30.  Please come out and show your support!!

The Freshman Girls Basketball team picked up a win against Grandview on Friday night by the score of 47 to 17.  The girls overcame a slow first half to earn the win.  The whole team fought hard and worked together.  Keep up the great teamwork and intensity.

Please come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against  South Suburban  on Tuesday, January 29th at 7:00 p.m. here at Arapahoe High School's main gym.

Spring Sports Online Athletic Registration is now open!  Log on to www.ahswarriors.org and follow the instructions on the Home Page to sign up for Baseball, Boys Swim/Dive, Track & Field, Girls Golf, Girls Soccer or Girls Tennis.
