General Announcements

There will be a short National Honor Society meeting today after school.  Please join us today at 2:25 in the forum for a quick meeting with important information.

Attention all DECA members. Our final all-club meeting is TODAY after school in Room E9. Information on applying for an officer position for next year will be given out at the meeting.

Hey Warriors, make your nomination for this year's Prom Royalty as well as Senior Favorites today during lunch in the cafeteria.  You can also nominate in the cafeteria all day on Thursday.  

Attention all Arapahoe artists, Art Attack is here!  We are now accepting entries for our 2013 show. Show off your talents and submit up to two works in every category.  See flyers around the school for detail.  Bring your artwork in to any art teacher now through Friday.

Seniors … Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent your class – audition for keynote speaker for graduation!  One time auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 16.  Please sign up for your audition at Mrs. Debow’s window in the Guidance Office.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts.

Hey Warriors!  Got talent?  Do you have an amazing talent that you want to share with the school?  The Prom Talent Show is coming up on April 24^th, and we are looking for fun and exciting acts to star in the show!  Tryouts will be held on April 9th from 2:30 to 5:30, and April 10^th from 5:00 to 7:30 in rooms N2 and N3.  If you are interested, please pick up the tryout forms from the main office!  These forms are available NOW, so come out and showcase your talent!!

Are you an average human being? Do you like eating? Do you have any ideas to combat the growing obesity problem? If so, come show your expertise and solutions in the LPS Healthy School Snack Contest! Prizes will be awarded to the top contestants on April 18th. If interested, contact Mrs. Lewis in Room E2 or refer to the posters on the bulletin boards or the slide show in the cafeteria. 

Attention all students who have completed multiple business classes.  You may be eligible for a business certificate of proficiency.  If you have completed a series of business classes, please stop by the business office to pick up an application for a certificate of proficiency.    Applications are due April 12th.  

Summer school information is now available. If you need this information, please come and pick up a packet in the Guidance Office or meet with your counselor.

Athletics

The girls Gold lacrosse team defeated Golden 15 - 14 yesterday in the rain and sleet.  Their next game is Thursday at Newton against Dakota Ridge.  Go Warriors!

Congrats to the JV girls lacrosse team for their exciting 7-5 victory over the Kent Denver Sun Devils yesterday.  It was a cold, wet game, but the Warriors fought hard through the end, and held the Sun Devils to just one goal in the 2nd half.  Great work, ladies!

Congratulations to the Varsity boys lacrosse team who defeated Littleton with a 15 point margin to continue their undefeated season. Keep up the good work.

The boys JV Gold lacrosse team defeated Littleton in a victory of 4-2. Good luck to the boys on Thursday as they take on Mountain Vista.

Huge congrats to the JV BLack boys lacrosse team who won against Heritage yesterday afternoon 14-4! Great job Warriors!

Good luck to the Level 3 boys lacrosse team who play away against Denver east today!
