HO! HO! HO! AHS
Toys for Tots has a goal of 1,000 toys for Valverde Elementary
and the Denver Indian Center. We now have about 40 toys in the
building. We need 960 more toys to meet our
goal. We only have 8 more
school days to
bring them in. Watch for sales and start bringing your toys in tomorrow. You make it happen!
Attention artists and writers! The Muse literary and
arts magazine needs YOUR submissions of art, poetry, and prose.
To submit, visit the Muse page under the activities tab on the school website.
And remember, we have a meeting TODAY after school in Room C17.
Attention Juniors and Seniors . . . the deadline to sign up
for the National Business Honor Society is this Friday. Please stop by the Business Department to
pick up an application.
Seniors: Please take a survey for the yearbook. Check your
LPS email for the link. The survey is open until Nov. 20. Thanks.

to both JV and Varsity cheer for excellent performances this past weekend at UCA
Mile High Regionals! JV placed fourth and Varsity placed second! Great job
ladies!!
