The Ames Fashion Design and Teacher Cadet programs will be here
at AHS visiting with any Sophomores or Juniors that are interested in
these programs for next year. They will have a table in the cafeteria during
both lunches today! Please feel free to stop by and visit!
The final session of club photos for the
yearbook will take place today after school
in the theatre. The following clubs will have their group photo taken
on February 18th: Ultimate Frisbee, Writing Club,
The Tribe/You Matter, Art Club and Ethnic Foods Club. Thank you!

Members. Your induction meeting is today
after school in Room E9.
Attention Warriors! Are you interested in
being a part of creating a positive school environment? If so, come join
The Tribe club meeting today at 2:20 in
the Guidance Center. Along with planning future events, we will be taking
our club photo for the yearbook. We look forward to seeing you there!
Attention Sophomores and
Juniors: Anyone interested in taking Concurrent Enrollment classes at
Arapahoe Community College for next fall needs to attend a meeting in
the Forum this Thursday. A
representative will be here during both lunches to hand out the paperwork and
talk about the guidelines for taking these classes. Students earn both High
School and College Credit when taking these classes.
Athletics
Congratulations to the girls swimming and
diving team for their 6th place finish at the State Meet this
weekend. At the meet, Ella Moynihan won the 200 freestyle and placed 4th
in the 100 freestyle, Laurel Eiber placed 7th in the 100 freestyle and the 200
freestyle relay placed third, breaking the team record.
All Girls interested in playing tennis this
season, now is the time!! Please come out to the tennis courts for camp week
starting today. Camp will be every day this week from 3-5 on the AHS courts.
Season starts next week. See Coach Leyden in the PE Office if you have any
questions.
Come
out and support our Unified Basketball game as we go up against Heritage. The
game is at Heritage High School on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:00 pm.
We would like to pack the gym. Join the excitement! Watch the
Unified Warriors defeat the Unified Eagles!
"Pink
Cards" for spring sports will be distributed in the cafeteria from 7:00 a.m. - 7:15 a.m and then again from 2:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. today
thru Friday, February 21st. You must have
a "pink card" before you can participate in practice beginning Monday,
February 24th.
