General Announcements

Sophomores and Juniors, the PLAN and PSAT results are in the Guidance Office. Please come and pick them up if you haven't yet!

Attention all students who have been accepted into the National Business Honor Society.  Please have your membership dues submitted to any member of the Business Department by the end of school on Monday.  Monday is the last day that dues will be accepted.

Club photos for the yearbook will be taken on Monday, February 10th in the AHS theatre after school. The following clubs will have their group photo taken on February 10th: Fiddlesticks, TSA, Key Club, FCCLA, Winter Guard, National Business Honor Society, FBLA, Winter Percussion Ensemble, and Mock Trial. Thank you!

Free Alive @ 25 class Monday February 10th at 3:00 pm in Room W101 for Arapahoe students. This is normally a $39 class. After taking this class you can get your driver's permit at age 15 1/2 and some insurance companies will give you a discount. Any questions ask Deputy Englert.

Athletics

The Girls Freshman/Sophomore Team defeated Smoky Hill Wednesday evening.  JV final score 40-18.  Tonight the Girls play at Eaglecrest High School at 5:30 and 7:00.  Come out and support your Lady Warriors basketball!

The Heritage/LPS hockey team takes on Mountain Vista and Mullen this weekend.  Come out and support the team as they play Mountain Vista tonight at 7:50 at the South Suburban ice rink.  The game against Mullen is Saturday night at 6:30 at the Ice Ranch.  

Come cheer on the girls swim and dive team this weekend at our A League championships. Friday prelims start at 5:30 and Saturday finals start at 3:00. Go Warriors! The Spear will broadcast the finals of the Girls' Swimming and Diving A-League Championships at 3:00.   If you can't come to the pool to cheer on the swimmers, you can watch them live online!  The Spear will also broadcast the basketball game on Friday. Arapahoe Warriors Baseball - To anyone interested in trying out for the Arapahoe Warriors Baseball teams this spring, there is a mandatory player/parent meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 11th, at7:00pm.  The meeting will take place in classrooms W201 and W202 (Science area).  Come and get all the information you'll need from Coach Muller and the Baseball Booster Board.
