Congratulations to Arapahoe’s Junior Varsity girls lacrosse team as they dominated Regis in their first game. The Warriors jumped out to an early lead, and then remained in control of the game until time expired beating Regis 14-5!  The JV team played a very solid game across the board, and got its 2014 season off to a great start. Way to go Warriors!

Congratulations to the Varsity girls’ lacrosse team in their huge victory yesterday over Regis Jesuit.  Under the lights of Regis’ stadium the Warriors began the first half trading goals with Regis with a narrow lead of 5-4. Next, they broke it open, scoring 8 unanswered goals, taking a 13-4 lead into halftime.  The Warriors continued their dominance throughout the second half, ultimately winning the game by a score of 16 - 6. The offense was clicking on all cylinders with great passing, assists and shot percentages.  The defense was particularly potent, shutting down Regis’ high powered offense with caused turnovers, clears, and draw controls.  Goalie Brooke Engel had a stellar game, saving 15 out of 21 shots to seal the victory.  Keep up the great work, Arapahoe!

Arapahoe Freshman Baseball are currently 2 and 1 with wins against Legend and Cherokee Trail.  They play at Cherry Creek today.  Come help support the Warriors when they face Heritage at Arapahoe on Saturday at 2:00 pm.

Arapahoe Jr. Varsity Baseball are currently 1 and 1. Jr. Varsity takes on the Cherry Creek Bruins today.  Stop by and cheer on your players and have a snack at the concession stand today at 4:30.  Go Warriors!  Beat the Bruins!

Just try to keep up with our varsity Track and Field team as they run, jump, vault, throw, and hurdle themselves over 23 other schools in this Saturday’s Sabercat Invitational at Sports Authority Stadium.  It’s the largest meet of the season so far.  Beat ‘em to the tape, Warriors!
