There was a recent
History Bowl in Fort Collins and two of our students, Sanat Mehta and Matthew
Yohannes, competed and qualified for the National Tournament. Congratulations
gentlemen!
Attention Seniors - Herff Jones will be in the cafeteria today during
lunch to deliver your graduation announcements.

Members
of National Honor Society, our monthly meeting is happening after school today
in the Forum. So please join us in the Forum at 2:25 today for a quick update
on what's happening in the world of NHS!
Students
interested in performing a stupid human trick during the Warrior Week charity basketball game
must pick up an application from Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages
office. Applications are due tomorrow.
The Muse
magazine would like to thank everyone who submitted their writings, poems,
and artworks to the magazine this year. We had a tremendous amount of
good work from the student body, and decisions about acceptance were
difficult. However, we have made final decisions, and have posted a list
of accepted artists, writers, and poets in the glass Muse case near the English
office. Feel free to check it out, and congratulations to all writers and
artists who will have their work printed in Volume 12 of the Muse!
Attention Freshmen and Sophomores. The TCAP List is now up
on the Security Office window. Please check to see what room you will be
testing in so you are prepared for next week. If you have any questions,
please stop by to see Mrs. Scoglio in the Attendance Office.
Warriors,
your AHS Library could use your help! We
still have 81 library books out there. If you have a library book, please return
it to the Attendance Office. If you are not sure if you have a book out
or not, please check the Library Overdue list on the bulletin boards in the
North and South hallways as well as the bulletin board across from the
Bookkeeper’s office. No fines will be charged. Thanks for your
help!
FBLA is
hosting Arapahoe's first Blacklight Volleyball Tournament on April 2nd. Sign
up packets are available to FBLA members on March 12th and
open to all other interested students March 13th. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first
serve basis. Packets can be picked up at the next club FBLA meeting or in the
business office.
Athletics
The boys basketball team has advanced to the "Sweet
16" round of the State Tournament! Your Warriors will host Smoky Hill tonight with
a tip-off of 7:00 p.m. We will be pre-selling tickets in the
cafeteria during lunches both today as there will be no SBA passes
accepted at this playoff game. Ticket prices will be $8 for adults and $6
for students. Go Warriors!
It is
Warrior baseball season once again. The Sophomore team will play Highlands
Ranch High School at Highlands Ranch High School today at 4:00. Come
cheer on your Arapahoe players. Don't miss it.
Auditions
for the 2014-2015 Tom Toms will be held on March 18th through March 21st from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary
Gym. A mandatory parent/athlete meeting will be held on March 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum.
All interested girls should attend.
