Hey Warriors! It’s Warrior Week! Show your support for Adam’s Camp
by coming to the many events throughout the week. As usual, the AHS Singers and
CU Buffoons will perform tonight in the Auditorium at 7:00 pm, and on Wednesday
there will be a senior vs. staff basketball game at 7:00 pm in the Main Gym.
Tickets to each event are $5, and will be sold during both lunches. There are also a few new events this year!
Come to Chipotle today between 4:00
and 8:00 pm, mention you are from Arapahoe, and Chipotle will donate 50% of
their proceeds to Adam’s Camp. Additionally, there will be three dress-up days
this year! Hopefully you are wearing your favorite band’s t-shirt today. Don’t forget to wear your favorite sports
apparel on Wednesday and your AHS 50th anniversary t-shirt on Friday
for the all-school assembly! Let’s show
our school spirit and help out Adam’s Camp!

. . If you signed up to play on the Warrior Week basketball team, there will be
a very brief meeting after
school TODAY at 2:30
pm in Room C19.
Basketball jerseys will be handed out at this time. If you cannot attend
this meeting, please see Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages office.
For
students who are participating in a stupid human trick during Wednesday night's senior vs. staff charity
basketball game, there will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday morning at 6:45 am in Room C19. See Mr. Brandberg in
the World Languages office with any questions.

Athletics
Last
Friday, the Varsity girls’ lacrosse team opened their season with
a 19 - 0 victory over the Eaglecrest Raptors. Ten of the players
scored goals and even more had assists and draw controls.
Eaglecrest had only three shots on goals, with the Arapahoe defense,
shutting down the Raptors’ offense. Well done Warriors, congratulations
on a great victory!
Congratulations
to the boys Varsity lacrosse team who defeated Southlake Carroll from Texas
this past Saturday.
The boys are undefeated so far this season. Come watch them take on Littleton
High School tonight at LPS stadium. Game starts at 6:00! Go Warriors!
The sophomore
baseball team remains undefeated after their 11-3 win over Regis! Your sophomore
team is at home playing ball this week. They will play Legend this afternoon
at 4:00, Cherokee Trail on Tuesday at 4:30 and Cherry Creek at 4:30 on Thursday. Need a break from homework? Come help us cheer on the sophomore team and
grab a hotdog, brat or burger at the snack shack! Go Warriors!
This
afternoon the JV girls lacrosse team will open their 2014 season against
big-time rivals, the Cherry Creek Bruins. Game time is 4:00 pm at Newton Middle School. Please
come out and support your Warriors!
The
Spring Swim Waiver will be given on Thursday morning, March 20th at 6:00 am at the AHS pool. You must pre-sign up
with Mrs. Leyden. You can stop by the Women's PE Office or send her an email.
Only current 9th -12th graders in LPS may take the test.
You must be ready to swim at 6:00 am. Be at the pool by 5:50. Currently enrolled seniors cannot take the
test.
