General Announcements

Justin: You know Katie, I love a good beard.
Katie: Well Justin, if you really love beards you should go see Fiddler on the Roof in our very own Arapahoe theatre next week on April 17th, 18th, 19th. You can purchase tickets online, just go to Mr. Ahern’s teacher page OR we will be selling tickets during both lunches! Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults. Mazeltov!

Have you always wanted to use the school loud speaker?  Would you like sharing the Arapahoe news for the day?  If you are interested in reading the daily announcements next year, sign up for auditions in the Attendance Office with Mrs. Ayres.  Auditions will be held Monday, April 21st, right after school.

Seniors! Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent your class . . . audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time open auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 15. Please sign up for your audition at Mrs. Debow's window in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts.
                                                                       
Attention all FBLA Members.  Are you interested in becoming an FBLA Officer next year?  Applications are now available in the Business Department and are due Wednesday April 16th 

PROM is approaching and, gentlemen, your tuxedos rentals need to happen soon. Please consider renting your tuxedo from Mens Warehouse located at County Line and University. AHS wins and earns cash back for every AHS rental from Mens Warehouse. Get there soon to get fitted for fashion!

Have you always wanted to drive a race car? Do you want 30 seconds in the money pit to collect as much as you can?  Do you want to snarf down some voodoo donuts?  Then come to our After Prom!!!  We have tons of new attractions this year that you don't want to miss.  Tickets are $15, and can be purchased at the end of this month!  More details are coming soon!!!

Attention seniors.  A $1,000 scholarship will be offered to one student looking to attend college next year.  In order to apply, you must have taken a Personal Finance class.  Please stop by the Business Department or the Post Grad Center to pick up an application.  All applications are due May 1st.

The medicine class pre-registration is open now!  Go to the Science Department web page to register by April 24th.

THE MUSE SHOWCASE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS, AND WE STILL HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF COPIES OF THIS YEAR'S MAGAZINE LEFT FOR SALE.  IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, BRING $15, TO MR MILES IN THE LANGUAGE ARTS DEPARTMENT. THIS VOLUME HAS WRITINGS FROM BOTH STUDENTS AND STAFF, AND IS A VERY SPECIAL MAGAZINE.  GET THEM WHILE THEY LAST!

Athletics

Under the lights of Legacy Stadium...the ABK Varsity Girls Soccer Team shut out their opponent Cherokee Trail! The girls extend their winning streak in League play with a goal and assist each by Lauren Conley and Maggie Sexton to seal a 2-0 victory. Arapahoe's defense continues to play tough with yet another shutout and 4 saves by goalie Hannah Archuleta. Great job ABK!!!
