The Arapahoe Guidance Department will be hosting an event for students and faculty during both lunches in the Arapahoe Theater today.  Crystal Miller was a junior at Columbine during the shooting fifteen years ago. She will share her story of recovery from being in the building that day.  Please bring your lunch and join us as Crystal gives us some guidance on recovering from December 13th.

Hey Warriors - remember that quiet study rooms are available today, periods 3 through 6.

Last call to all Arapahoe Artists . . . The 10th Annual Art Attack is underway.  This is the last week to submit any art for the show so don't wait.  You can pick up your submission forms in the art office and work must be turned in by tomorrow.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. King, Mrs. Svigel, or Mrs. Davidson in the art department.

Seniors! Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent your class--audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time open auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 15. Please sign up for your audition at Mrs. Debow's window in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts.

Hey Warriors!  It’s that time of the year again, time to get ready for Prom!  Let’s kick things off by nominating our prom royalty this week!  Juniors and seniors, get on the school webpage and nominate your favorites from now until tomorrow.  Voting will take place next Thursday, April 10.

If you would like to audition for the prom talent show to be held on April 24th, auditions are taking place on April 8th from 2:30-3:30 pm and April 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. You need to sign up for a time slot at the front desk in the Main Office before 3:00 pm on Monday, April 7th in order to audition. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to showcase your talent!

Attention sophomores and juniors, if you applied for LINK Crew, leaders for next year will be announced on Friday, April 11th.  This is an adjustment to the original date.  Thank you.

Athletics
Congratulations to all students who volunteered and participated in the FBLA Blacklight Volleyball Tournament last night.  At the end of the night, team Black Widow won the title!

This afternoon both of the girls’ lacrosse teams have home games scheduled against Chapparral.  The JV game is scheduled to start at 3:45 pm at Newton Middle School.  The Varsity game is to commence at 6:00 pm under the lights at LPS stadium.  These games might be cancelled due to the weather. We really want our great fans to keep on coming out for the games, so please contact a GLAX player later today to find out if the games will still be played.  Go Warriors, freeze out the Puma’s!

For further details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
