The Muse staff and faculty sponsors would like to thank everyone who submitted their fine work to us this year, and we would like to extend our CONGRATULATIONS to all the artists and writers whose work was accepted into the magazine.  SAVE THE DATE: We will celebrate those creative students on the night of Thursday,  April 10th, in our annual Showcase in the Forum. This year, faculty and staff have also contributed to the magazine, and we look forward to seeing them at the Showcase night as well.  Snacks will be served beforehand, and there will be music too.  Again, congratulations to the writers and artists for this year’s Muse!  You help make Arapahoe what it is!

Attention sophomores and juniors, if you applied for LINK Crew, leaders for next year will be announced on Friday, April 11th.  This is an adjustment to the original date.  Thank you.

Athletics

Attention G-LAX lacrosse fans.  Last night, the number four ranked girls Varsity lacrosse team defeated Chaparral  under the lights at LPS Stadium.  The Warriors had an 11 -7 lead going into half time.  The Wolverines mounted a furious comeback in the second half to tie the score 12-12.  Not to be undone, Arapahoe then retook control of the game. The girls did this by scoring six unanswered goals to ice the 18 - 12 victory on a cold night at LPS Stadium.  The victory was particularly sweet as this was the first time in the past seven years that the GLAX Warriors have beaten Chaparral.  Congratulations Warriors!  You fought hard and really earned this fantastic win.  And we would like to particularly thank our growing student fan base.  We look forward to seeing even more of you at next Wednesday’s game against Cherokee Trail.  Keep it up, Warriors!

Bragging rights are at stake in this afternoon’s City of Littleton Track and Field Championships.  Your Warriors will sprint, jump, vault, hurdle … whatever it takes to break the yellow tape.  When you see track and field athletes at school today, tell ‘em you hope to see their names on the leader board tonight!

Hey Warriors, Come out tomorrow (Saturday) at 4:00 pm to cheer on your ABK Varsity Girls Soccer team as they take on their rivals Heritage High School. Game is at LPS stadium at 4:00pm.  Hope to see you there!

For further details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
Warriors always take care of one another.
